Vivelle dot patch for menstrual migraine.?
My period is late - is this because of the patch? Asked by Arthur Marriner 1 year ago.

The Vivelle dot patch should not cause your period to be late, but stress could be a factor, such as migraines putting stress on the body. Answered by Felipe Morn 1 year ago.

I need 4 prometrium-100mg-&3 vivelle-.1mg- dot patches to stop symptoms-anyone else ever needed this much?
I am having a really rough time with peri-menopause (probably because of other health prob.s) and I'm only 4 years into it.Worse sympts are sleep probs, anxity, depression, very spacy, heart palp.s. I tried Paxil to get the hormone therapy down but it didn't help. Now I'm trying birth control pills. Asked by Ike Koewler 1 year ago.

I have talked to ladies who have used Prometrium before but not at that high of a level. I've used Vivelle patches for a different problem and never had to use that many. One thing that I've heard can be good for menopausal symptoms is chasteberry and also black cohash but because they are herbs I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say. Is the Vivelle dot a form of birth control?
I have recently been kicked off my parents' insurance plan due to my age and now have no way to get my badly needed birth control (not only do I have irregular periods and intense cramps, but I am also in a LTR with no desire for a baby).A well meaning friend contacted her gynecologist-Aunt and hooked me up... A well meaning friend contacted her gynecologist-Aunt and hooked me up with a bag of free samples. the samples she gave me were of the Vivelle Dot. A quick google search seems to be telling me that these are simply estrogen supplements. Who is right? do these have an alternative use as birth control? Answered by Modesta Oswald 1 year ago.

No, they are not birth control and you should not use them. Vivelle Dot is estrogen replacement for menopausal women. They do not act as birth control and won't help with your periods and cramps. Answered by Toby Lindel 1 year ago.

Vaginal irritation on Vivelle Dot?
I've been tested for yeast twice with this and it isn't a yeast infection. The gyno has no idea what it is. Asked by Ashli Breda 1 year ago.

The Dot IS a hormone supplement, so anytime you introduce or alter hormonal levels in your body, it is entirely possible to throw off the bacterial levels that control yeast...which is what I suspect you're suffering from. Talk to your doctor and make sure you're ok...it's probably a simple matter of taking acidophilus and getting an Rx for Diflucan to treat the yeast...but make sure it's yeast first. I don't feel any different than I usually do so how can I find out? Please only answer if you know the answer. no "I don't knows." please. Thanks in advance. Answered by Darin Landy 1 year ago.

It depends on your age, if you are a pre teen or young teen then the patch is to give you the estrogen you lack, it will also help you develop boobs and eventually a monthly period. It will be maybe 3 months before you see changes starting. You possibly won't feel any different though, but will notice body changes If you are older and past puberty it will help keep your hormone levels right, progesterone will also be added for part of the month. You will likely feel different than if you were not having the patch, but in a positive way. My daughter also has turner syndrome and shares her 1st name with you, she's nearly 15 now and is on a duel tablet form of estrogen and progesterone Answered by Temika Tewksbury 1 year ago.

I am 31 years old and have been using the patches for about 3-4 years due to Premature Ovarian Failure. I mainly began using it because I had no sex drive and they definitely helped with that :) But I wanted to stop them for long enough to get my blood tested to see what MY levels are without the aid of HRT. Last week, I had 3 straight days of feeling utterly sad/heavy. Just very unlike myself. I am having minor hot flashes (definitely not as bad as my teen years, thankfully!) and find myself hot in bed, but not actually sweating. I am having some pretty bad vaginal dryness. Hurts after sex each time even with lubrication and even after I pee. Feels like I am wiping an already dry and painful vagina. Those are the main ones and I have to wait another month or so before I get my labs done. Is it going to get worse for me? Answered by Vanessa Spinoso 1 year ago.

I would not think your doctor would prescribe something that would hurt the baby. But you could always call your doctor and verify that you have the correct medication and voice your concerns. Answered by Donella Pilson 1 year ago.

Asked by Thomasena Tuter 1 year ago.

Vaginal irritation on Vivelle Dot?
I've been tested for yeast twice with this and it isn't a yeast infection. The gyno has no idea what it is. Asked by Chaya Salceda 1 year ago.

My daughter also has turner syndrome and shares her 1st name with you, she's nearly 15 now and is on a duel tablet form of estrogen and progesterone Answered by Jc Leaper 1 year ago.

Answered by Bettyann Kubly 1 year ago.
