I been on vicodin for 4 years now the doctor wants me to try vicoprofen what is the difference?
i want to know whats the difference in side affects are and the difference between the 2 pills and if vicoprofen works better for people with ms taking betaseron Asked by Renaldo Fugle 1 year ago.

I have been taking vicoprofen for chronic pain and I have to say that I get much better results with the vicoprofen. For one thing vicoprofen is stronger (7.5 mg of hydrocodone, as opposed to only 5 mg of hydrocodone in vicodin), PLUS, vicoprofen contains ibuprofen rather than the tylenol which is present in vicodin. I think that you will find good results with vicoprofen. It seems that I don't have to take as much, or take it as often, the vicoprofen. So anytime you can take LESS medication and get good pain relief, that's a good thing! Answered by Hosea Masteller 1 year ago.

the only difference is that vicodin has tylenol (acetametaphin), and vicoprofin has motrin (ibuprofin). ibuprofin is usually harder on your liver, and isn't recommended to take constantly over a long period of time. Answered by Dalene Okeson 1 year ago.

What is Vicoprofen commonly used for?
My son has been caught drinking as well, what would be the affects of drinking in the duration of this specific drug usage? I don't want to accuse him without a second opinion. Asked by Goldie Decena 1 year ago.

I was in my son's room and came across a prescribed bottle of "Vicoprofen."The bottle also displays "hydrocodone." Isn't hydrocodone a narcotic? I'm worrying because I have no idea how he could have gotten this even with his name printed on it. I'm worrying maybe he's getting high off of it. What is vicoprofen? What is it used for? He had an extracted wisdom tooth and was prescribed vicodin last year but I don't understand how he could have gotten this vicoprofen. Answered by Fernanda Stelzl 1 year ago.

Vicodin and vicoprofen have the same opioid ingredient (hydrocodone) and it's present in the same dosages (between 2.5 and 10mg). Vicoprofen is no stronger of an opioid than vicodin. Check the prescription date. It may be the bottle from his tooth extraction. Or he may have visited the doctor for another condition. If it has his name on it, it was prescribed to him. Vicoprofen ( hydrocodone and Ibuprofen) - is used short- term to relieve pain Answered by Chanel Toepel 1 year ago.

i googled vicoprofen not knowing what it was and it says its hydrocodone mixed with ibuprofen. its an opoid painkiller . he should definitely not be drinking with this, its possible that this was given for a tooth problem as ibuprofen is a n anti inflammatory painkiller but if ur worried about how / why he has it then ask him casually see what his answer is. Answered by Eloise Blakesley 1 year ago.

Better have a serious prayer meeting with him. Both are narcotics and can result in death if abused. Both are addicting. Is your son old enough to legally drink? If not, tell him none in your house. If he wants to drink and do drugs, leave. Tough love, but they need it. Answered by Exie Lansberg 1 year ago.

Vicoprofen Vs Vicodin Answered by Lorette Honour 1 year ago.

Vicodin is hydrocodone and acetominophen Vicoprofen is hydrocodone and ibuprofen The only real difference is that ibuprofen works more as an anti-inflammatory than actetominophen does. Answered by Bruce Creque 1 year ago.

Well, Philadelphia has gotta be the king of idiot broadcasters. With the addition of Gary Mathews to an already pain stakingly painful Chris Wheeler, I could go on for hours. Sarge's keys to game seem to crack me up. Most of the time its: Score more runs than the other team, or for the pitchers not to allow as many runs as the opposing team. One of my favorite insights was the know-it-all personality of Chris Wheeler during Spring Training this year. When Harry Kalas was remarking on how beautiful the Phillies's Bright House Networks field was, Chris Wheeler repsonded with: "They've got one better over in Arizona." Truly painful coming from a guy that's never picked up a bat in his life. Answered by Dawn Laury 1 year ago.

Vicoprofen is way better. Too much acetaminophen in Vicodin where as there is only 200mgs of Ibuprofen in Vicoprofen. Easier on your liver and unless you have severe kidney disease the 200mg of Ibuprofen is very safe. Answered by Chiquita Buscemi 1 year ago.
