i went to the doctor and they said it was a yeast infection. Just wanted to know how long it takes to clear up. I guess I will just have to be patient. If it hasn't cleared up by thursday, I'm gonna call the doctor and tell her to give me diflucan

Dear Beyonce2, You may need something stronger or it may not be a yeast infection. schedule an appointment with your doctor because it could be a number of things ranging from bacterial vaginosis to a STD. If you don't go to the doctor right now try any yeast infection cream with clotrimazole in it and see if that helps. Answered by Collin Hallczuk 1 month ago.

Does Vagistat-1 contain amphetamines?
I took a drug test today, and It came up positive for amphetamines. The only thing I've taken is vagistat 1 for a yeast infection. Could that be why?

You just need to not use a tampon while you are using the Vagistat. I am assuming it is the ovial or the thing you insert. What it does is melts with your body heat and coats the vaginal area. You just don't want to use a tampon bc it will block it from doing its job Answered by Nakesha Eskelsen 1 month ago.

I have a yeast infection. I went to the drugstore intending to get a 3-day treatment, but Vagistat-1 was on sale for the same price. I thought hey, just one application sounds a lot better than 3 or 7, and I bought it. Now I'm home, and I've read some pretty bad reviews online about it making symptoms worse and not really being all that effective and am consequently a bit leery about taking it. Thing is, I'm not actually experiencing the symptoms anymore. I had itchiness for a few days, and that's gone. My discharge is or almost is back to how it was before. I put off getting treatment because I was working third shift temporarily and my sleep schedule was all weird, but I was taking care of it, making sure to keep clean and dry. Now it seems like the infection's gone, but I thought I should use an OTC treatment just to be sure. Do I need to? And if so, will Vagistat-1 work, or would I be better off with something else? Answered by Song Monares 1 month ago.
I've always used Monistat 3 day treatment and it gives me a little irritation. Last time I had a yeast infection, I tried the 1 day treatment and it was HELL! It burned so incredibly bad and I ended up having to call in to work the next morning. Also, it didn't even treat the yeast infection completely. I had to see my gyno and get some diflucan. I'm not sure about your brand, but I would bet it's the same. If I were you, I'd go get the 3 day or 7 day treatment, or maybe even call your doc to get some diflucan. If your symptoms are gone, I wouldn't worry about it either. Answered by Elizabet Molen 1 month ago.
I understand that the OTC creams does not remove the infection completely. You may need to go to your gyn or primary just in case. You can get some herbal supplement, YEAST/FUNGLE DETOX from Natures Sunshine. This is an excellent product. Check your health stores in your area or you can order it from the website below. make sure you get this brand. All brands are not good and stay away from the GNC store!!! What's the difference between vagistat 1 and monistat 1? Which works better?
Asked by Fernanda Desando 1 month ago.
Its the same thing-just different brand. If you read the package it has the same stuff in it. But my doctor said its best to use a 3 day treatment. She said that 1 day is usually not enough to clear it up all the way and it is more likely to come pack. Answered by Monika Senne 1 month ago.

It may be that this infection has left you with a lot more irritation than usual, and that's the reason the one day treatment has set things off differently. Those one day treatments are a lot more concentrated than the others, and well, the tissues in the region are just tender to begin with. Where you get the treatments, they also sell creams that will help soothe the outside skin and help with the itch and burn. You might want to use one of those for a day or so while things settle down and heal, before you can determine if it's been effective or not. Truthfully, I usually recommend ladies avoid those one day treatments for just this reason. The three day is a lot better, and if things have gone on for a while before you can get treatment, it's best to use the traditional seven day sort, just to avoid this misery. You can also soak your poor tush in warm water with baking soda, and use baby wet wipes for personal cleaning. Get the sort without perfumes and with aloe, so you don't aggravate the situation any more. Hopefully despite the misery of the moment, it did the job where it counts and this is just outside irritation. Answered by Jacque Degooyer 1 month ago.
Yeah Vagistat 1 is really harsh. I would try the 3 or 7 day right away. Desitin baby ointment has also helped me when I tried Vagistat 1 and I felt like my ... uh, fun-zone was on fire. Good luck girl. Answered by Leatrice Dillmore 1 month ago.
