Can i use Thermazene (Silver Sulfadaizine) for an ear piercing infection?
Just pierced my own ear and i have an infection. I was wondering if i could use thermazene which is usually a burn antibiotic but i was wondering if i could use it on my piercing so it could heal. Asked by Sheree Tullio 1 year ago.

Silver is a bad decision for a clean piercing. Use the two gold or surgical metallic rings till your ears are thoroughly healed. Titanium is a little extra costly, yet is likewise secure for brand spanking new piercings. to avert an infection, use antibacterial hand cleansing soap (like Dial) to bathe them a pair situations an afternoon. additionally, do no longer touch your ears in any respect except you're cleansing them. Thermazine is fine for you burn and in fact is indicated for it. You will have some discoloration in the area which will take a few weeks to completely resolve so you may need to apply some cover makeup or colored stockings to hide the area (or nothing of you don't really care). Honey works also as does antibiotic ointment but what you are using is fine and should work great. COngratulations ont he wedding! Answered by Darrin Anders 1 year ago.

It's pretty painful on my shoulders and back and I have been waking up continuously in my sleep. What treatment will help the sunburn and take the pain away? Also with treatment, how long will it take tor my sunburn to heal and peel? I start highschool for the first time on Monday (now Friday) and I don't want to be peeling all over the place. Thanks. Thermazene (silver sulfadiazine) cream or Alovera juice Answered by Shirley Safdeye 1 year ago.

If it's just redness, use over the counter stuff like Aloe or Solarcaine. If you have blisters, go to the hospital. Answered by Markus Silton 1 year ago.

Burned nipple...? Serious Question?
Thanks greengo :) Asked by Lyn Roser 1 year ago.

I was at work today and was cleaning the fryer. Drained all the grease out (there's this little trick where you take the hot grease and pour it back in the fryer to get the gunk at the bottom loose) I did that and silly ol' me forgot to turn the fryer off, so it went up in fire and I still had the almost full pot of grease in my hand slung it backwards and it landed back on me. I had my short sleeved work shirt on 60/40 cotton and polyester with my wife-beater underneath and, apron on top. I went to OHS and it was only the left side of my chest burned and my right forearm. Story short I got the day off with a change of dressing and ointment (Thermazene) and when leaving I kept feeling this sensation on my nipple so I get home and see it's a tiny pus bubble and just popped it. Should I just add Thermazene to it when I apply it to the other areas? Answered by Colin Mojarro 1 year ago.

If you get blisters with the burn, you should be careful not to pop them. Well, anyway for future reference. The Thermazene has a sulfa based antibiotic in it, it will help prevent infection. Yes, I would use thee ointment on it. Keep it clean, and apply the ointment with a bit of sterile gauze or wear gloves, you do NOT want to get infection in it. Also wash your hands really carefully prior to putting on the cream and dressing. Watch for redness, drainage, swelling, and the like, since that could mean a sign of infection. You can keep the ointment in the refrigerator, it feels cool when you put it on. Hope you heal up quick. Answered by Larae Larrivee 1 year ago.

How do you help get your burn to heal faster?
I burnt my finger while cooking, now it's like a blister or a wart. It doesn't hurt but I am still worried about it! Do you have any remedies? Please help! :) Asked by Layne Giernoth 1 year ago.

Put some Silvadene or Thermazene on the burn and avoid using the finger with the burn. Never put any fat or oils on burns and don't puncture the blister. Burns heal slowly so there isn't much you can do. Answered by Clark Nero 1 year ago.

paw paw ointment works well for small burns like the one you've described. Answered by Angelica Klamm 1 year ago.

For another month or so. My neighbor got one from one of those marshmallow metal rods that you use at a campfire. (I accidently hit him with it). He had it for about 2 months and then he had a scar. That was last summer when he was around, Ha HA! Answered by Terry Vanscoy 1 year ago.

One thing i want to know is, when i use the ointment, i wear a pad also so it doesn't make my underwear wet, but wouldn't the moisture kind of prevent my cuts from healing fast? And if the pad rubs off the ointment seeing that is close to my skin, wouldn't it still rub on my skin?? I got like a sunburn ointment, it's called Kendall Thermazene. I despise the way i look and i want it to heal asap. I'm black, if this helps any. Im due for post of on May 22nd. Answered by Katharine Norzagaray 1 year ago.

It's not the type of smoke that matters, most smoked substances are burned up in the process of smoking - smoking itself deprives cells of oxygen and restricts bloodflow and so any kind of smoking is bad for the bone healing process or healing in general. But Marijuana is certainly a greater evil than nicotine. Answered by Leatrice Zaccagnini 1 year ago.
