Check with your doctor, however there is a definite possibility that smoking may cause some complications while taking this drug. Also stay away from alcohol as well until you talk with your doctor. Answered by Jamie Baquet 1 year ago.

Tessalon Perle?
all of my life, once i get a flu or cold, i always have asthmatic symptoms and allergies that kick my butt. all my life i have taken albuterol, for the bronchial spasms and chronic, choking gagging coughs. Asked by Vito Napierala 1 year ago.

I had bronchitis they put me on albuterol, advair, avelox, robitussin and prednisone. Alot but each one was for a specific symptom. What Im saying sounds like alot but each work differently.Tessalon is for cough, albuterol for opening airways. Not sure theraflu best option.Talk with your dr. about some relief of your other syptoms. Answered by Deon Gestes 1 year ago.

Taking theraflu on top of the tessalon and albuterol might not be the best idea. If you are having head congestion it would be better to take an antihistamine such as zertec or claratin-D. Answered by Evelynn Ritterbush 1 year ago.

It probably wouldn't hurt. Why are you taking albuterol for congestion, if you don't have an underlying asthma or COPD you really don't need the albuterol. It useless for congestion. mucinex or robitussin would be more appropriate. Answered by Aurelio Wesner 1 year ago.

Can a person take aspirin while taking tessalon?
friend has pneumonia and this medication is giving headache and i was wondering if tylenol of bayer is ok. Asked by Creola Settler 1 year ago.

Tylenol would be a better choice because of the lower incidence of side effects and drug interactions. You could always take aspirin later if the Tylenol didn't work. Aspirin and Tessalon pearles can be taken together. Make sure he/she does not chew the Tessalons or take with hot liquids. They should be taken whole with water. Aspirin might be a bad idea if your friend is very young, with a fever and Reyes Syndrome could be an issue. Answered by Andres Kwang 1 year ago.

What happens when you drink alcohol with "Tessalon Perels"?
Asked by Verdell Szafraniec 1 year ago.

1) You should NEVER drink alcohol while taking ANY medicine (prescription or over-the-counter). #2) Since Tessalon Perles are a "cough suppressant", any alcohol you consume would increase the effects of the medicine - and some of those effects can be life-threatening! Example... Alcohol is a suppressant and makes people sleepy. If you add another suppressant (the cough suppressant) onto that, you are creating a (potentially) deadly combination. Simply - do not drink while on any medicines. Answered by Teofila Brogdon 1 year ago.

How long does it take for benzonatate to work?
benzonatate / tessalon pe ? Asked by Susann Diekema 1 year ago.

Benzonatate is a medication taken orally to suppress coughs. It has an anesthetic (numbing) action similar to that of benzocaine and "numbs" the stretch sensors in the lungs. It is the stretching of these sensors with breathing that causes the cough. Benzonatate begins to work within 15 to 20 minutes, and its effects last for approximately 3 hours. Benzonatate is unrelated to narcotics such as codeine which are frequently used to suppress coughs. (Another frequently used cough suppressant, dextromethorphan, which is found in many over-the-counter cough and cold preparations, is a derivative of the narcotics.) Benzonatate was approved by the FDA in 1958. SIDE EFFECTS: The most frequent adverse reactions of benzonatate include sedation, headache, mild dizziness, constipation, nausea, and vomiting. Good Luck ! Answered by Cary Leinhart 1 year ago.

Does Benzonatate Work Answered by Christopher Infantolino 1 year ago.

I once suffered from Chronic Bronchitis. I would suffer sometimes 3 to 4 times per year! Usually when there was a major change in the pressure outside (I live in the north, and the temperature spikes and dips do wonders to chronic sufferers of bronchitis!). Each time I would get horrible hacking coughs, hoarking up green phlegm..it was so frustrating! The key to getting rid of your bronchitis is to find a way to completely eliminate the germs that are causing all the phlegm and irritation leading to your hoarking cough and heavy breathing. Keep reading to learn how to do kill these germs!! This page it will change your life and make you feel 100% better within just 24 hours! Answered by Sonya Hauxwell 1 year ago.
