Tavist D and my Dog?
I heard you could give Tavist D to a dog with allergy problems, so does anyone know the proper dosage to give a small dog? Asked by Rosann Gressman 1 year ago.

I honestly dont know about Tavist D and dogs, but I do know that you can give Benedryl to dogs with allergies cuz mine is on it now with the recomendation from my vet. The Benedryl dosage for dogs is 1 to 2 mg's per lb. The adult version of Benedryl is 25mgs and the children's version is 12.5mgs. I prefer to give the liquid as the liquid works faster and it's easier to dose cuz you can buy a baby syringe at the pharmacy for accuracy. Answered by Rhoda Debien 1 year ago.

Never give human medication to your pet without first consulting your veterinarian. They might be able to direct you to better medication suited for your pets particular needs. Answered by Catina Royals 1 year ago.

Want to buy OTC medication for sinus problems: Clemastine and phenylpropanolamine. What Brand name is this?
Apparently Tavist-D is prescription only. Can Clemastine and phenylpropanolamine be bought OTC? Asked by Anglea Gladson 1 year ago.

Tavist is OTC, but in America PPA is off the market. Sorry! Answered by Thad Schantz 1 year ago.

Medications for sinus problems only give you temporary relief but don't overcome the problem of overactive mucus glands. Switching from mucus generating dairy products and red meat to soy milk and white meat should help. Fish is better than chicken. Answered by Mickey Manney 1 year ago.

Anyone know why no one carries Tavist antihistamine anymore?
I can't find it at Target or Walmart... Asked by Cherilyn Rall 1 year ago.

It is the same ingredient as in Contact so just buy contact instead. Answered by Suzanna Belyea 1 year ago.

have you talked to the Pharamcay? It may be behind the counter, and the Pharamicy can tell you another medication, like a generic with the same exact ingredients. A lot of over the counters went behind the counter, or to perscription....depending on the State you live in. good luck. behind the Counter in CA Oregon== perscription Answered by Christian Mudget 1 year ago.
