Is the painkiller Talwins dangerous around conception time? I take one or two on ocassion for pain because of my endometriosis-- never over-do it. But, I am unsure whether or not it's dangerous around conception/very early pregnancy (I am ttc). I can't find anything about it on the internet. I know that taking hydrocodone is okay as needed til the 3rd trimester, but don't know about this drug. Thanks! Answered by Francesco Greenbush 1 year ago.
Talwin was not found to cause birth deffects in animal studies. It is known to cross the placenta. It should be avoided during labor and delivery of premature infants. Infants have had withdrawl symptoms afer birth after lon-term use during pregnancy. Other adverse effects in newborns have been reported following abuse of talwin during pregnancy. Also- you should discuss it with your MD. Answered by Masako Wixted 1 year ago.
it relatively is entirely a topic in case you have on no account had it. it is that if that's the previous school poultry pox. interior the previous 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, the rigidity of poultry pox has replaced slightly, maximum probable because of the virus scuffling with the vaccine. The extra recent rigidity can nevertheless get you ill whether you have had poultry pox in the past. i think of its extra solid to seize the hot rigidity in case you have already had the poultry pox even with the incontrovertible fact that it continues to be obtainable. I guard a youngster who have been given the hot rigidity final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Its probable maximum suitable to maintain your distance however the probabilities of you getting something from it relatively is small. Answered by Kattie Dalfonso 1 year ago.

Is Talwin NX® (PENTAZOCINE NALOXONE) a strong medication?
How is it compared to Hydrocodone 5,7.5 and 10mg?
Asked by Casimira Dosal 1 year ago.
Talwin is an effective opiate pain reliever comparable to codiene and hydrocodone. It is a partial antagonist, meaning it causes less euphoria, and in opiate addicted patients, can cause withdrawal symptoms. The "NX" means it contains naloxone (a pure opiate antagonist), so if the pills are dissolved and injected, it will cause severe withdrawal symptoms. The naloxone is ineffective orally. Comparability depends on dose. 10 mg of hydrocodone is approximately equal to 50 mg of pentazocine. DK Answered by Hallie Stan 1 year ago.

This is not a deadly combination, but you may experience excessive sedation for about 4 to 6 hours. This depends on how large you are. If you are close to 200 pounds, you may not notice anything. Answered by Velia Rusteberg 1 year ago.
