Asked by Karin Tsing 1 year ago.

Prevacid is taken by mouth(p.o.) as prescribed, usually 30 min or so prior to eating to prevent reflux or GERD. Rhinocort is usually a nasal spray, for seasonal allergies. I do not know of a pill -your script should say Rhinocort Aqua. Answered by Pierre Jochum 1 year ago.

NOT EVEN CLOSE. If you are at risk of anaphylaxis from allergies, you should be carrying an epi-pen. Period. Answered by Miriam Nucklos 1 year ago.

I have had a sinus infection for over a year now, and have used saline solution( water with salt), antibiotics(took one pack but didnt work(this was after 8mths i had the infection)) and have taken nasonex, claritin rhinocort. So, what treatment is recommendable? Can allergy sprays cure it beacuse im seeing an allergy specialist and will be given the appropriate spray Answered by Sonja Pumper 1 year ago.

Allergy spray won't cure the infection. The allergy specialist will have to find the right antibiotics for you, and will treat your allergies with pills and sprays. Be pepared fo allergy tests. It's worth the trouble. I've had chronic allergic rhinitis for years, and I get sinus infections too, but not as many as I did before I saw the allergist. Answered by Adell Maobi 1 year ago.

Hi Arm, It seem like you are seeing an allergist but you are hoping to treat an infection. This is unlikely to happen. The allergist will determine the substances you are allergic to. He will help you control the allergy. He may refer you back to your GP if he feels that you have infected sinuses. You are going a lot of the right things to eventually cure your sinus infection. I note that you have not stated a single sign of sinus infection. It is possible that you have allergy related sinusitis. Good luck. Answered by Mitchell Tullison 1 year ago.

I have been having these really weird symptoms. I feel sick after eating (like i'm going to throw up), I have a drip in my throat, cold-like symptoms (sneezing, runny nose) and headaches. This has been going on for a couple of months now. I've been to the doctor three times. The first time, i was diagnosed with a sinus infection, and the second and third times, I was diagnosed with allergies. I am taking claritin and Rhinocort aqua and it is not helping. Keep in mind before this happened I was perfectly healthy. I am 12 years old. Do I have simple allergies, and just need to go back to the doctor, or do I have something seriously wrong with me? Please help. I am really scared!! Answered by Lawerence Beuther 1 year ago.

It most likely is allergy related. The sinus drip can cause you to feel nauseous. It could be that you have developed an allergy to something in the air (i.e. trees, grasses, dust, etc.) or some type of animal that you are around. I think you should go to a different doctor and tell him everything and see if he thinks you should go to an allergist for further testing. You may need to be on a stronger allergy med that you take year round. Allergies are weird. You can go all your life without having any problems and then all of a sudden it can change. It's all a part of your body changing. Answered by Phyliss Skeels 1 year ago.

You will be fine once the Dr puts you on the right medicine..I have bad allergy's and was put on claritan and i starting getting sick to my stomach ..were you sick to your stomach before that medicine? If so you need to go back and tell the Dr you need something else because claritan makes you sick..Don't worry you will be OK..it takes time to control allergies..
