Can Oxandrin help with fat loss and muscle gain?
For a while I was on Prednisone at very high doses and it caused me to gain a lot of weight and lose a lot of muscle. I'm very weak and I'm only 20 years old and overweight. Can a prescription for Oxandrin (Oxandrolone) help me burn fat and put on muscle if I exercise with it? Should I ask my doctor about it? Asked by Arminda Teele 1 year ago.

I've never heard of Oxandrin. Instead going that route try eggs plus bakers chocolate. Eggs have the complete amino acids and bakers chocolate is chock full of nitrix oxide which improves circulation. I started on that regimine two weeks ago and noticed some strong improvements. First, go to your local Walmart and Walgreens and get a list of the prescriptions that are covered on their $4 generics plan. Take that list to your doctor, and ask if anything there can be used instead of the oxandrolone. Even if they don't, there has got to be something cheaper.....most doctors don't concern themselves with the cost when they write a script unless you tell them that cost is an issue. If not, call your local health unit. They will have information on any local prescription assistance programs. Most metro areas have locally sponsored programs that help needy people pay for their medications. Also, you might qualify for medicaid as opposed to medicare, and they would be able to assist you with applying for that also. You might also try a program call Together RX Access, if you google the name the website is easy to find. It is specifically for lower income people to make medication affordable, you might qualify for that as well. Answered by Vashti Gadley 1 year ago.

Try calling the manufacturer of the medication, you can get the number from the pharmacy all drug companies have a hard ship program where you can get your medication for free or very little cost. Also call the City of Hope and see what help they can offer you. It's possible that wal-mart might have this on their 4 dollar generic plan. Speak to social worker at a hospital that "specializes in cancer patients. If these are of no hep please edit the question so we know. Answered by Ressie Donalson 1 year ago.

Im unclear...are you saying that the doctor thinks the medecine will help you gain what??? weight? Is it possible to use an alternative weight gain product? Call the doctors office and inquire as to any alternatives...Noone should have to physically suffer because they dont have the adequate health insurance. Answered by Herbert Petitti 1 year ago.

Answered by Jordan Spyres 1 year ago.

I am a Phd in Biology and former Nevada State Bench Press Champion and 4th Place in the AAU Mr. America. Before I quit these sports, I had taken every steroid in the world. Each one has its own Androgen and Anabolic Index relative to testosterone. Some like Halotestin are sex stimulants and others like Nilevar make guys impotent. The important thing is that unless you take an overdose, the effects are reversible. If you take a steroid high in androgens, your testicles shrink temporarily because your body detects the androgens and figures it hass enough testosterone so it doesn't have to produce any for a while. However, once you stop, you body notices that you are runnning on low and gradually rebuilds. It can take a month or six weeks. You would have to stay on a high level of artificial androgen for months to turn your normal flow off so there might be a problem. in that case, a doctor would use a drug like Human Chorionic Gonadotropin or Clomid to start your motor up again. I had my ups and downs through 12 years of national competitions, and I saw my endocrinologist MD every 6-8 weeks, and everything returned to normal when I stopped. .I stopped in part because wqith the passage of the Anabolic Steroid Control Act, I felt I could no longer get the "safer steroids," and the designer ones they have today are virtually unstudied. Optimum Nutrition's Platinum Hydro Builder does not contain any steroids, but it does contain creatine. According to Men's Health, creatine produces stomach upsets in 5-7% of users. It is approved by the International Olympic Committee. In the course of my carrer as competitor, judge, and trainer, I have seen a few bodybuilders get stomach problems from Anavar or Oxandrin, the steroid that harnesses creatine phosphate to build ATP. So there may be a very tenuous connection there, but only in terms of digestion. As we all know, there were naturally occuring steroids such as Mark MCGuire used on the shelves of health food stores even 15 years ago, but they have all been removed.. There are also rip off companies who make products with the same names and they can put whatever they want in until they get caught. One user of Platinum complained of kidney pains on Steroidology.com. It may be true, but 1 case on a less than totally scientific websites doesn't prove much.. Creatine that won't bulk?
also when i'm stacking with creatine, I'd take it m-f about an hour before my workout and tues-thurs I would take jack3d about 45 minutes before. Asked by Carlita Kimler 1 year ago.

I was previously taking GNC pro performance Amplified creatine xxx. I really liked my increase in strength and in reps, but it made me start to bulk up real quick. I take jack3d before my workouts on tuesday-thursday, but hit the gym mon-fri. I'm 6' 1", 195 and not to concerned with gaining any more weight. Just looking for some different things to experiment with. Thanks Answered by Bob Fraughton 1 year ago.

Your'e just gaining water bloat with creatine, when you stop taking it your muscles will completely flatten out flushing your strength down the toilet. If you wan't real results you need to take something they don't sell at GNC. I suggest a mild anabolic like Oxandrolone (Anavar, Oxandrin 10) 30mgs a day. Amazing for fat burning, strength, without bulking. Popular with strength and speed athletes that need to stay light but powerful. Those of you who think anabolics are cheating or dangerous, pull your head out of your *** and learn to think for yourself. Answered by Raquel Blick 1 year ago.

What catagory numberis the controlled drug testosterone in?
Hi can any one tell me the controlled catagory number testosterone comes under. I keep reading different things that it is a scheduled II and III drug, Thanks Asked by Maud Sokoloff 1 year ago.

In The United States testosterone and related substances including methyltestosterone, fluoxymesterone, and oxandrolone are federally controlled schedule III substances. According to the DEA "Substances in this schedule have a potential for abuse less than substances in schedules I or II and abuse may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence." Other examples of schedule III controlled substances include opioids such as Vicodin (hydrocodone/acetaminophen), Tylenol #3 (acetaminophen/codeine), Subutex (buprenorphine), and Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) along with non-amphetamine stimulants sometimes prescribed for weight loss and include Didrex (benzphetamine) and Bontril (phendimetrazine), barbiturates like Sodium Pentothal (sodium thiopental), and other drugs including ketamine. In Canada testosterone is a schedule G (CDSA IV) class drug making it less controlled than it is in America. Here are a number of brand name medications with testosterone or a related substance: Androderm (testosterone transdermal), Android (methyltestosterone), Testim (testosterone topical), Testred (methyltestosterone), Depo-Testosterone (testosterone cypionate), Striant (testosterone), Oxandrin (oxandrolone), AndroGel (testosterone topical), Axiron (testosterone topical), and Fortesta (testosterone topical).
