Hi this is my 2nd month on norinyl for birth control. I have a 7 month old....so my question is on the paket it says tablets on week 4 are inactive and on the week 4 last month and this month I got my period....can u get pregnant in that week if I had sex on week4........yolisdelariva@gmail. Thanks

You are protected on the inactive week as long as you have been taking your pill daily and if you started the first pack while on your period. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned. Answered by Denna Vines 1 year ago.
Birth controls are the cruelest. If a baby wants to being born that is his/her choice and right! The Nor-Indyl will settle you down for a few moments but you cant deny birthing rites forever, right? Answered by Joel Kuske 1 year ago.
Has anyone taken Norinyl Birthcontrol?
I've been taking the pill everyday since march 10. And I haven't a period since march 1st. I am concerned about this. I've had three or four HPT this month and each came back negative. Has anyone has a problem with this type of birthcontrol? Can birthconrol mess up your cycle?
Asked by Sudie Newkirk 1 year ago.
Yes, birth control pills can mess with the cycle for a short time as one's body adjusts to being on it and then having a regular period. I've never taken this particular birth control pill but all birth control pills have the potential to mess with the period for a bit at first because of the change in the body due to the medication being given to the body. I would also recommend getting in touch with your OB/GYN to let them know what is going on so that it can be documented in case this is a sign of something else over the next month or so. I don't know much about it, but a couple of ways to learn more about it is to read the printed info that comes with the prescription, to check if there's a website about this pill, and also to ask the doctor who prescribed it your questions. Answered by Kathe Rettinger 1 year ago.

I am now on the inactive pill week of my main birth control which is Norinyl,so I figured...?
I am usually on Norinyl. I started taking my inactive pills yesterday along with an active pill from another pack of birth control pills that I used to take before. I did it so I would not have a heavy period like I am used to having. Think it will work or a good idea?
Asked by Darnell Gootee 1 year ago.
No, it's not a good idea. The pills you were prescribed keep a certain level of hormones in your system. Taking other birth control pills AT ALL can cause a hormone spike, which can result in headaches, nausea, even blood clots. If you're having heavy periods, talk to your health care provider about changing your prescription to one that will lighten your periods. Answered by Marisha Templin 1 year ago.
What is the thought process with Tri-Norinyl birth control?
a triphasic birthcontrol. I don't understand why the third phase of drug combo has a decrease in progesterin (reverts back to the amount in first phase). What uses could this be for therapeutically? Thanks

I've been on and off BCPs over the last two years. Before i was taking Nortrel 1/35 and had no problems whatsoever. BUT after taking Norinly 1+35 for the past two and a half months, I've noticed a change in my mood. I've never felt so unhappy before. I am going through some big changes in my life (moving to california) but i was very excited about it before the pill and now i fear it. I also feel very anxious at times. I am aware that moving does cause stress but could the pill make it worse? Could the pill make my stress and anxiety worse to the point of depression? Also, I'm half way through my pack and want to stop right away. Would that be a bad idea? Answered by Bennie Weiner 1 year ago.
A change in the pill can definitely do this. Mood swings/depression/anxiety are common side effects of the pill. Different pills can do completely different things to different people. While your last pill might have been the perfect match, even a slightly different pill could make all the world of difference. Answered by Suzanna Eugenio 1 year ago.
you can stop straight away, but it will cause you to have breakthrough bleeding for a few days, and may send your next period of track.yes this is most probably the cause, doctor usually says to wait untill the end of the third pack but i too just stopped taking my pill,i used to cry when my bf went to work(mad i kno) but i felt so low,and trust me if you dont stop it will get worse! goodluck ,and maybe you should try the mini pill ,had less yucky side effects,i take cerazette, and iv not had any bad mood swings on this,i also dont get a period!:P xxxxx Answered by Shonna Rouhoff 1 year ago.
Does anybody take the birth control pill from WATSON called NORINYL 1+35 and still breastfed?
My doc knew i was breastfeeding and didnt give me pills that i could take while breastfeeding, how dumb of them! That aint helping women out.
Asked by Freda Cay 1 year ago.
I don't take the same bIrth control as you, I take a low dose one because I am nursing. You need to see your doc and let them know that you are nursing. They should prescribe you a low dose bc, the one you have is not. A low dose will be safer for your baby and will not decrease your milk supply. Answered by Stevie Blanton 1 year ago.
It would be much better if you called your Dr about this. Answered by Domitila Lauretta 1 year ago.
If I dont take the 7 wk placebo cycle of birth control pills for NORINYL does that mean I will miss my period?
Asked by Sol Prag 1 year ago.
The placebo pills don't do anything (that's why they're called placebos). They're just there so you get in the habit of taking you pill every day and don't forget which days are on or off. Answered by Glendora Gutting 1 year ago.

I just stopped taking my birth control pills because I am sick of having no libido. I have been looking up different kinds to take and I came across the mini pills. I wanted to try those because I figure the less hormones the better but as I read on it said that progesterone is the hormone that decreases sex drive.. so the mini pill is out because that's the only hormone it has in it. So I came across Norinyl and there's two different doses... one has more estrogen than progesterone. Do you think that birth control will have less effect on libido? I'm 21 and have been taking birth control for 4 years. I started off with Alesse and went to Seasonique and I went back to Alesse but nothing is helping. I have also noticed since I haven't been taking any pills that I have more energy and I am less depressed (which I didn't notice I wasn't happy until I had stopped taking them all together). stop and use barriers. Answered by Shon Yamashiro 1 year ago.
One common problem that happens is this. I have been there and done that. You have to figure out what it is first that is destroying your sex drive. If your on medication like birth control or anti-depressants that is something to think about and do research on. Other then that it could just be stress, maybe the kids, really anything that makes your life stressful can do this and lower the libido. One thing I tried that seemed to work while I was doing it was exercising. I just felt sexier doing it which kind of boosted my libido. However it wasn't the best solution for me. My friend told me about these herbal enhancers that are made from natural herbs and don't cause any side effects besides having wild sex. She said it's the female version of viagra. I had to find out. I would always have a weak orgasm too (if I had one at all), which after trying this sex enhancer, it boosted them tremendously. I don't get multiple orgasms but I've had plenty since being on these herbs. It's seriously like the best vibrator ride you've ever experienced. These things make me horny all the time, some days I don't even take them because the urge is just too strong. Don't try out single herbs because they don't do it like the blend of herbs these scientists and researchers pick out. I've tried a couple of them by itself and they did crap. The stuff that I'm on is called Hersolution, at the time I saved money on it at herenhancement.com . Make sure you get the 3 month supply that way you fall under the guarantee/return policy if the herbs don't work for you, you can return them with no questions ask. I bet they will work though and you won't have any problems. Also if your on medication of any sort, check out the gel because if your like me, you wouldn't want to swallow any thing that might react with the medications your already on. Well have a good day and hopefully you solved your problem. Answered by Janae Sunderman 1 year ago.
ok, i'm on beginning administration additionally. for my area i dont like it, it brought about me to get PCOS it is basically fairly undesirable ovarian cysts somewhat. in any case i will college to be a registered nurse and im extraordinarily much achieved so which you will believe what i say. I dont skinny you could substitute your beginning administration there is not something incorrect with it you're basically experiencing a facet effect. you could advance your libido via eating specific meals like Lobster. I even have had decreased libido for a jointly as regrettably yet i dont do something my fiance basically works greater stable to artwork me up and get me "warm and stricken". you could communicate on your Gynecologist approximately this because of the fact there are different beginning controls that basically preclude being pregnant and dont use hormones. that's what likely is what motives your decreased libido considering that's what motives mine. Im on the dep. provera shot so i dont produce any estrogen and th works great besides the undeniable fact that it gave me the PCOS so i take Sprintec to so i will produse estrogen to do away with the cysts so my device is all mesed up. interior the tip i might basically communicate on your physician or Gynecologist.
