Neo medrol for acne treatment?
my mom bought me this acne lotion named "neo medrol" it supposed to dry your skin and make it less oily. but i want to know if it's helping or just a big waste of time.
Asked by Selina Bomberger 5 months ago.
It will not make your skin less oily. All it contains is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, which can help with acne. But, the gold-standard of today is actually benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. You can find these products at the drugstore. Answered by Sommer Kalina 5 months ago.
My dermatologist prescribed...?
my dermatologist prescribed me benzaclin for the morning and Neo-Medrol for the evening. I wonder what you think about these two medications? Do they work well? What are the side effects? etc.
Asked by Gemma Bierner 5 months ago.
First, don't put foot fungus cream on your face it won't work Those are two really good acne medications. I would give it about a month or two to really judge the effect of the medications on your acne. I don't know of any side effects. Answered by Robin Tellman 5 months ago.
"Dermatologists do not prescribe birth control." That isn't true. Dermatologists can prescribe whatever they like. Sometimes hormone regulation can help with acne. If your dermatologist (and previous) doesn't believe it's hormonal then there is no point in prescribing such drugs. If you want birth control for birth control go and see your doctor, planned parenthood or other birth control clinic where you live. Try washing with soap and water - I know that goes against the grain with teenagers Answered by Alberto Quezad 5 months ago.
Over washing your face will just remove the good oils in your face which you need. My favorite trick is very simple instead of acne cream try Foot Fungus Cream Its made to kill bacteria faster than acne cream Answered by Tamika Rioz 5 months ago.
I have terrible acne. Any advice what to use?

Try Minomycin (anthibiotic) Retin A ointment and Neo-Medrol. I've used it personally with great success. Just be patiient. It take about twee weeks before you can see the difference. But it works like a bomb! Answered by Wanda Wilridge 5 months ago.
I have used Clearasil Vanishing Maximum Strength Acne Treatment Cream and has helped me alot its a little expensive but worth buying its about $6 to $7 I apply everyday before putting on makeup and works wonders. Answered by Dong Vasaure 5 months ago.
Gly Masque made by ICN pharmaceuticals is a mask you put on daily for 20 minutes and wash off. I have it on right now and it has really cleared up all the pimples. I now use it to prevent any new pimples or if I find one is starting to come up. Put it on at the first sign of a pimple. It really dries it up. If you have acne all over your face then put it all over, if not, put just on the pimples, but not more than 30 minutes. Good luck. It is great for all ages. Answered by Carl Roen 5 months ago.

If you keep changing products too much it might not help but you can try neo medrol (acne lotion) if you've never tried it before. It helped me alot. Answered by Irwin Ethridge 5 months ago.
Well I think there are certain pills to take for acne, for example, I THINK erythromycin helps it. You can probably get this prescribed from your doctor. About the scars, have you tried the product Bio Oil? That was made specifically for scars and stretch marks etc. But most scars become less noticeable over time, so if you can make the acne go away, hopefully the scars will improve themselves. Answered by Ozella Dozer 5 months ago.
One simple step that works to keep acne away. Niacinamide (aka Niapads ®) face pads help keep acne away by scrubbing open clogged pores, oily residues and exfoliation. Feel a pimple coming? Just wet a pad, place it on the pimple and remove it when dry. Sit back and watch pimple disappear. Works on body acne too. These pads also help reduce skin hyperpigmentation (acne scars). Try it and see the difference Answered by Rico Kupka 5 months ago.
I went to sears and got the dermatologist to look at my face. she recommended clinique 3 step program and i purchased it. it was 80 dollars and my bumps left really quick. i feel like less than two weeks! but there are different types so you have to get the lady to check your skin. also, my friends have been prescribed birth control by their doctors to control acne. it goes away within a month i believe. but there are side effects to birth control so please talk to your doctor first and see if they recommend it for you <3 Answered by Suzan Molstad 5 months ago.

Answered by Christian Edmerson 5 months ago.
its completely normal. hormones are having a ball in your body during pregnancy and this is one of the side effects. it usually gets better after the first trimester. there is this solution called neo-medrol, its amazing - the pimples disappear in no time. just check with a dermatologist whether its safe to use during pregnancy as it contains steroids. Congratulations and best of luck! Answered by Louvenia Zinz 5 months ago.
Its because your hormones have changed so much. My face was perfect before and right at about 16 weeks i too started getting clusters of pimples on my forehead and even the odd one on my body. Its gross. My solution: lots of sleep, lots of water, cleanliness, and cover up =) Answered by Zenobia Sayco 5 months ago.

Nismo, I have two options for you, depends on how many you can spend on treatment. Both had worked exellent for two of my children. My son's skin was really very very bad, but after a treatment of Minomycin (antibiotic) retin-a (an ointment) and neo-medrol (a white liquid) his acne cleared up completely after three months use. My daughter's skin was not as bad as his but still bad enough. She got the tip to use apple cider vinegar, which you buy at any grocery store, and drank 2 tablespoons 3 times a day before meals. Now, after only one month, her skin's also beautiful and very glowy. Apple cider vinegar helps for many many things. Just google it and see for yourself what it can do for many ailments. Good luck. I hope my advice will help you get rid of that acne. Answered by Janiece Ahrendt 5 months ago.
You sound like you have a infection under your skin and sweating can make it worse. you need to see a dermitoligist or however that is spelled.commom treatment wont help you. Then you could be allergic to something. Answered by Thomasena Gillund 5 months ago.
What do you treat a bad case of razor rash with?
Have a bad case of razor rash in the bikini area with raised ingrown hairs along with itching and burning...Ugh! Have tried tea-tree oil and cortisone cream though not improving much.
Asked by Ambrose Indeck 5 months ago.
TendSkin works quite well, though it burns and dries the skin briefly. When used regularly, I have found that it eliminated the regrowth of ingrown hair. There is a product for women, well men can use it as well. It's called Seiko S Yard and its designed to eliminate ingrown hair occurrence. It's a two step process but better than getting itchy and irritated. Tweezerman is quite good, what I have found is that a combination of these remedies work really well together. One cream that that has allowed me to shave without any fear of ingrown hair is Neo Medrol, I use it all the time now. Answered by Herta Steeg 5 months ago.
There is a cream you can get at the drugstore called Bikini Zone, it is made especially for razor burn. Good Luck! Answered by Charise Oszust 5 months ago.
Well, you can activate your own white blood cells by putting hot wet towel compresses on it for 3 minutes and then a cold wet towel for one minute. Repeat the whole process three times morning and evening to the affected area and you should get over any infection in the area within 3 days. Answered by Shawnta Skeeters 5 months ago.
Aloe vera will work wonderfully for your problem :) Try to find a gel aloe vera with a high percentage of aloe in it. Do not get the spray can because these do not have enough aloe in them. I use aloe for my legs when I get razor burn on them, works every time and it's very fast-acting! Answered by Sammie Isiminger 5 months ago.

I got this rash on my neck, i think it may have been from ingrown hairs, i hardly touch it but i wake up several times in the night, and it spreads, its down to my shoulders and upper chest now, i have to wear a collared shirt to work(which doesnt help) and i have no idea what it is, the doctor said it may be a fungus and gave me some cream but it didnt work, so i tried zyrtec and got rid of it, but a few weeks later(aka now) it came back, and now the zyrtec isnt getting rid of it... the second one is a small rash that appears just below my stomach, it happens every now and then and then just magcially disappers im not sure what it is, but it looks like and sort of feels like a bunch of bug bites, when i scratched one of the new bumps it looked like it was gonna bleed, it itches alot, and im not sure what it is either... i just want some tips, and maybe a diagnosis if possible... Answered by Oma Roemen 5 months ago.
It sounds like it may be ingrown hair, but first and foremost, ingrown hair only comes from shaving or hair removal nothing else causes it. It's quite common to get ingrown hair around the neck area for men. Normally when you get ingrown hair, you may get a burning sensation in the area that is affected. It starts off slowly then the feeling gets more intense. Because the hair curls back onto itself before its has left the skin, you get the infection which looks like acne or fungus infection. The best thing to do is to get something to scrub away the dead skin to allow the hair to grow out. Another solution is Neo-Medrol which I use when I can find it. It works for acne and ingrown hair If you have money then laser hair removal would be the end of your problem as you won't have to shave again. Some more info is on the website below. Hope that helps. Answered by Annika Conlee 5 months ago.
