can you use Monistat-Derm to get rid of ringworm on a dog?
Asked by Eleanore Nygard 3 months ago.
Yes, you could, just make sure they don't lick it off in great quantities and make sure you apply it to the edges of the lesion where the fungus is most actively growing. Are you sure it is ringworm? Selsun Blue shampoo twice weekly for one month (let it sit 5 minutes each time before rinsing) will reduce the fungal spores in the environment if that is the case. Make sure you have your vet confirm the diagnosis or you will end up treating the wrong thing. Pyoderma caused by a bacterial infection looks almost exactly like ringworm and the Monistat will not treat it, although the Selsun Blue shampoo would. Answered by Leighann Massoud 3 months ago.
yes. I used a topical antifungal on my cat when he had ringworm, as recommended by my vet. I used lotrimin, but it's the same chemical I believe. Be careful, the ringworm can be contagious. Answered by Katy Meschino 3 months ago.
Double check the brand and active ingredient with your vet first just to be safe. Answered by Tressa Berhow 3 months ago.
Why did the doctor prescribe monistat derm?
I did get tested ...
Asked by Wen Battaglini 3 months ago.
Use the medicine, it probably won't hurt even if you don't have a yeast infection. If you are sexually active don't have sex until it has cleared up. Also the person you are sexually active with needs to be treated too. Otherwise you will just pass the infection back and forth. Answered by Amy Maune 3 months ago.

If it came with the things you insert into you then no. The cream is usually just for the itching on the outside of the vagina. Answered by Garret Smithers 3 months ago.
Can you use regular Monistat to cure ringworm?
Regular meaning not "Monistat-derm".If you could include why it does or does not work I'd be interested in that also. Thanks in advance!**Ringworm is NOT a parasite! it is in fact a fungus and is actually a lot like athletes foot. The reason they call it "ringworm" is unknown to me.

Yes, you can. It works because I tried it many years ago. If you check antifungal creams in the drugstore they have the same active ingredient and the same amount. Answered by Berenice Weng 3 months ago.
Sean B. you're a tool....ring worm is not an actual worm, it's a fungus. Moron! Answered by Tasha Zincke 3 months ago.
Monistat is a yeast infection(fungus) treatment, while ringworm is an actual worm (a parasite). Since they're in different kingdoms, I'd venture that's a "no." Answered by Venus Dalmoro 3 months ago.

How soon will i see an improvement in jock itch?
So i think i have jock itch and i am looking to apply ketoconazole for a couple of days and see whether its improving or not before visiting the doctor. What i would like to know is whether there will be any noticeable improvement in 3-4 days so that i will know whether the cream is working or not?
Asked by Gerry Patrias 3 months ago.
3-4 days will tell you that there is some improvement, but don't expect to see a total resolution for about two weeks, assuming that you have the right diagnosis. Answered by Dwayne Mehring 3 months ago.
My breasts feel weird & I want to know what's going on. Help?
Also, this is not my first bra, I'm a C-cup, I've been wearing bras for a while now
Asked by Tamie Ruberte 3 months ago.
Ok, so I'm 14 & my breasts have been having an itchy feeling & it feels like pins & needles & it's led me to scratching them so I ended up with scratch marks on my right breast. I don't have any bumps of anything but they keep on itching sometimes & I want to know what's going on please. I hope it's nothing too serious. Answered by Bertha Mcelmeel 3 months ago.
At 18 you're better than two times as possibly to be struck by using lightning as to develop breast maximum cancers. the possibilities of it happening in the two breasts are plenty smaller. And no longer something you describe is a symptom of breast maximum cancers. maximum human beings clinically determined with breast maximum cancers have felt no discomfort in any respect; it rather is totally infrequently a symptom of breast maximum cancers. somebody has recommended a mammogram; no universal practitioner will order a mammogram on somebody your age. youthful women human beings's breast tissue is only too dense for mammography to be an invaluable diagnostic gadget, and whilst the prospect of breast maximum cancers is very almost 0 and there are no longer any indicators, it only could no longer take place. Even those people who've had breast maximum cancers, and are hence at bigger possibility, are recommended to attend 2 weeks earlier consulting a doctor if we've concerns like this - that way if it rather is only hormonal it has time to cool down. while you're nevertheless getting the rigors in 2 weeks and that they are nevertheless stressful you, see your universal practitioner for reassurance. yet stop stressful approximately breast maximum cancers; even in women human beings old sufficient for breast maximum cancers, what you describe are no longer breast maximum cancers indicators. Answered by Isaura Lotto 3 months ago.
When your breasts grow, sometimes it's hard for the skin over them to grow at the same rate. Your expanding breast tissue might be causing the tender skin of your breasts to stretch and feel tight/itchy. Don't worry, you will eventually grow out of it. Apply a lotion with vitamin E to help avoid stretchmarks and help with the itching. Good luckk! Answered by Gilma Barfield 3 months ago.
its not serious at all dont itch them though. depending on how long you have had things it could be many things if this is your first bra it could be that its irritating they might just be growing allergys to your laundry soap (you would be itchy in other places too.) nothing to worry about Answered by Glennie Albin 3 months ago.
i think it might have something more to do with the skin on your breasts than the breast itself. try to put some calming lotion on it and avoid scratching for a while lol and if it doesnt go away, tell your mom, even though it might be embarassing. it might just be an annoying rash. good luckkk Answered by Cuc Reusch 3 months ago.
You should probably ask your mom, or if you don't live with her ask a mother-figure. Mine itch too sometimes, and I'm not sure why, but it would be best to ask your mom because she's had at least 20 years experience, lols Answered by Lavelle Ponsler 3 months ago.
maybe the bra is making you itch, you should buy a new bra and see if that helps. Answered by Lourie Linberg 3 months ago.
Does anyone know where to get Neosporin AF in Toronto?
I have yet to come across a regular local store ( shoppers, wal-mart etc.) that carries Neosporin AF. Also I would like a place that does not need a prescription for this product.
Asked by Miriam Harmon 3 months ago.
neosporin AF contains the same antifungal ingredient as monistat derm. buy any cream with miconazole or clotrimazole as the active ingredient. apply the cream twice daily. be sure to dry the area thoroughly after showering. use the cream for at least 7 days after the fungus looks like it's gone ; otherwise, it may return.
