Monistat 1 Combination Pack: Can I take it during the day?

you can use it at any time but night time would be best to prevent leaking...and monistat 1 really works..i used it last night along with the cream and today the infection is competely gone along with the itching...i would recomend to still use the cream for one or two more days to make sure that everything is clear...it was well worth the money...hope i helped...xoxo Answered by Rosetta Vaissiere 3 months ago.

There's a new monistat that's for daytime- it says so on the commerical, and I'm pretty sure it's the suppositories. Answered by Gino Iyengar 3 months ago.

The reason why it says at bed time is because you are not active moving around and the medication will stay in the vagina canal where it needs to be to work an make you better. However, the suppository goes in the same place, your vagina and even thought it doesn't say to do it at bed time you will have better results if you do. Good luck. Does Monistat 1 combination pack work?
So pretty much what I've heard is that it depends on the person and your bodies reaction to it. Asked by Tyrell Dunahoo 3 months ago.

I've heard all the horror stories about the irritation, burning, itching, pain after using this (mostly from people who try it during the day, which is just a no no) but I've also heard that the infection cleared within a week without irritation. I am going to use this tonight before I go to bed and I'm prepared to experience some discomfort. But in your experience, has this product been effective? (I know it doesn't work in 1 day, it isn't called Monistat 1 day, it is 1 dose. It's supposed to work within a week) How bad were your symptoms when you used this? And how long did they last? Thanks! Answered by Merrie Lepping 3 months ago.

No problems here, only used it once... but really had no side effects at all. Answered by Cinderella Eisenhower 3 months ago.

I get yeast infections a lot. I've tried the Monistat one day and it didn't work. It was a waste of money and I had to spend more money to get more Monistat. The 3 day works well. I usually know early on when I'm starting to get a yeast infection so my symptoms don't get too severe. Answered by Vernon Phorng 3 months ago.

If something seems too good to be true it is. If you have trouble with yeast infections I would do the 3 day, and they burn like hell. I can't imagine the discomfort of the concentration of the 1 day. Answered by Maryann Yarrell 3 months ago.

Monistat 1 pack (one dose) does it work?
Has anyone used the monistat 1 combination pack (one treatment) and had it worked. I've never used it, only the 3 day treatment once. But I don't want to wait THAT long before being able to be active again. How long does it normally take after using it? Asked by Caroyln Fosso 3 months ago.

It works just fine. But, if you mean you want to be sexually active again soon, you need to read the instructions that come with all of those products. You shouldn't be having sex with a yeast infection. Answered by Clarita Mruk 3 months ago.

i noticed a differance in 1 day it works Answered by Octavia Woline 3 months ago.

I am not sure if it works, I haven't tried it myself. My doctor said to avoid that one b/c it doesn't really clear up the problem. Answered by Cedrick Martinkus 3 months ago.

Monistat Cool Wipes.?
Ok, I just purchased the monistat 1 day treatment ovule combination pack with tripple action system, with the cool wipes... what is the purpose of the wipes??? pretty stupid question.... Asked by Latisha Fukada 3 months ago.

I just did a search on this product and the wipes that come with the pack are for helping to soothe the area since that area is raw and irritated due to the yeast infection. Answered by Milagros Winfield 3 months ago.

u can treat your self the natural way. you have to eat garlic and yoghurt those things helped me after the day 3 i was healed. so these should work. if you dont want the smell of garlic you can swallow it with water or something else. water is also a big help for any type of infection so drink lots of water, and eat garlic, yoghurt and some fiber. dont use the overthe counter treatments they work just for a month and definitly do NOT douche. use water to wash down there and not soap because soap kills the good bacteria and leaves the bad ones. the only thing you should use to wash down there is lots and lots of water its the best. Is it Safe To Use Monistat During Pregnancy??!!?
I recently bought Monistat 1 Combination pack DAY OR NIGHT.. i am really worried about using this product because i am 8 months pregnant, and i do not want to hurt the baby. i was wondering if it is safe to use this product during pregnancy, thank you so much!! Asked by Tracey Chrest 3 months ago.

My Dr. told me that any of the over the counter stuff is safe, and much better than the alternative (no treatment!!) Plus if you have a yeast infection when you give birth, you can pass it to the baby, and they can get it in their eyes and mouth and stuff, and it's pretty nasty. Answered by Terry Krajnovich 3 months ago.

i would just go to the doctor to get something prescribed its better off that way because some stuff that you buy from the store could be bad for the baby. Answered by Trinity Deimund 3 months ago.

my doctor said it was fine you should just get like the 7 day one instead of the one day Answered by Idella Gruman 3 months ago.

you should talk to your dr. if you are needing medication for an issue they need to know what is going on and can tell you what will be safe. Answered by Ferdinand Kunicki 3 months ago.

Monistat 3 Day combination pack versus Monistat 7 Day treatment? Which is more effective?

I'm almost 100% sure I have a yeast infection. I get them frequently. Every time I've gone in for my regular women's checkup, I wind up testing positive for a yeast infection and so my obgyn prescribes me medicine to get rid of it, but I haven't been able to go to my regular checkup lately because I no longer have any health insurance and just to go in and see my doctor would cost me $50 outta pocket which i can't really afford right now. So since I'm almost 100% sure that what I have is a yeast infection, I want to try treating this myself this time and I'm going to be buying some Monistat but I don't know which kind to go with. I'd like to get rid of this dang infection before the weekend so I think the 3 day would be my best choice, but is the 3 day treatment as effective as the 7 day treatment? If it's not, I'll just go ahead and get the 7 day treatment because I don't want to wind up wasting my money or any more time on something that doesn't work. Answered by Dung Roetzler 3 months ago.

the 3 day, and even 1 day are just as effective as the 7 day. i don't know why anyone would ever do the 7 day anymore. i usually use the 1 day treatment and it goes away completely in about 3 days. Answered by Elise Ganin 3 months ago.

Well I guarantee anything that you take longer will be more effective, since it gives the medication a longer period of time to do it's thing. Right now I'm thinking I have a yeast infection, and I started using the generic three day treatment last night, because I will be staying at my bf's and out doing activities this weekend, and really don't want to have to use the monistat then , kif you know what i mean, but anyways yea I'd think that the 3-day treatment would do it for most, unless you get really bad yeast infections that are known to take longer to get rid of. Answered by Elliott Horkley 3 months ago.

1 Day Monistat Vs 3 Day Answered by Nolan Walston 3 months ago.

They work about the same and take about the same amount of time to clear up the infection. The only advantage to the 3 day is that you finish the treatment faster. It still takes it about 7 days to entirely clear up the infection. Answered by Jamie Stottlemyer 3 months ago.

About monistat 1 packaging?
i just dove 20 minutes away and back to the only open store to get this damn thing. Asked by Angele Haywood 3 months ago.

I've just purchased a monistat 1 combination pack. When I opened it the applicator barrel was not wrapped. It doesn't mention anything on the directions about unwrapping it, but you would think, it should be wrapped because you are inserting it inside... Also, the ovule insert was sealed completely in the foil package, but it didn't have the little paper backing it is showing in the directions. Don't know whether to trust it or not?? I've called the 1-800 number but they're currently closed. It is way passed my bedtime and I was hoping I'd have this taken care of..this sucks balls. Answered by Alison Cuppett 3 months ago.

Although it is rare, you can transmit a yeast infection to your partner through sexual intercourse. So I would use a condom if I were you. Answered by Jessenia Mayben 3 months ago.

if a condom is worn it should be ok to have sex, there is no saying you cant have sex, but its best to wait if no protection is being used as you can pass it one, just wait till 5pm 2moror and it will be better then Answered by Ryan Stancombe 3 months ago.

Hre is the thing: when I was in NJ.(USA) I started feeling itchy and burning on my vagina so I went to a doctor and she said I has a yeast infection and recommended me to use Monistat cream to relieve itchy and burning symptoms .Also as i had this white discharge ,she took a sample and told me to go back to see what else than the yeast infection i could had because she though that my discharge was thicker than normally. Then I didnt have time to go anymore over there but I did bought the cream and used it. The weird thing is that the doctor told me to buy and use the cream ..I mean she didn't say anything about the ovules...so i went to wallgreens and was confused abt what to buy...then I finally got the MONISTAT 1 combination pack that came with 2 ovules . So I didn't know if I should say that instructions on monistat package said or just tu put the cream on my vagina as the doctor told me and I did the second thing. So, as the pain , burn and itchy was gone after four days I though that was it ( that was first week of April) ...Now ( 3 months later) I am having the same symptoms and im not in the US anymore I've already found the cream that works like monistat. But Why did this infection come back? Should I have used the ovules when I used monistat for the first time? I mean , maybe cuz I didnt use the ovules and just the cream i didnt cure the infection and tha's why came back. IDK. help me.. now. i have the ovules form monistat cuz i brought them to my country just in case but i think i can get the cream the spanish version at least. finally t's the same thing.. but I dont know that if I had used the ovules on the first time The infection would havent come back :S.. ....please help me.. cuz i feel itchy and burning when i pee,,,,the discharge is normal. but I feel pain, burn and itchy and I wanna know if I can used the ovules now and the cream ( like the moninstat treatment) and maybe with that my infection will be cured? or it's just that I'll alway get the infection after having it once.... Pd: sorry my english but Im spanish speaker who studies english :)...and as everything happened over there im making this question I do need ur help! Answered by Patti Helquist 3 months ago.

All Monistat does is treat the pain and itching. A yeast infection has to be treated with an antibiotic--something that will actually get rid of the infection. All you did was mask the pain. I would see another doctor and ask for an antibiotic to get rid of your yeast infection. Answered by Kandace Gillins 3 months ago.
