It told me to lie down and not get up because it could leak out so after I inserted it I got up cause i was thirsty and what happen.. it all came out.. so my question is does Miconazole 7 really work or am i wasteing my time? I have never had a yeast infection before. Answered by Etta Hsiao 4 months ago.

If it literally 'all came out' just by getting up.. you did not put it in right. I've used it before and it works.. I usually feel better by the 3rd night but TAKE THE REST OF THE DOSAGE EVEN WHEN YOU FEEL BETTER! I would suggest that you don't go with any 5, 3, or 1 day dosages because they usually are too harsh and tend to make things worse. It is basically the same thing your doctor will prescribe to you if indeed that type of infection is what you have. If at the end of the 7 days you have no relief, go to the doctor.. or if anything worse happens or if anything changes give the doctor a call. Answered by Katherina Montford 4 months ago.

You should get someone to to take you to get something else. The cream may just be an anti-itch cream used on the outside of your body (it may not be meant to go up inside of you). There is a specific dose that is meant to go in there, and without an applicator, you would have no idea how much to use. Plus, the medication that goes inside is usually a pill. Im using Miconazole 7 day treatment and on the 4th day could my yeast infection be gone?
Also wondering if its ok to have intercourse at this point :D thanks Asked by Theressa Gutter 4 months ago.

When I use miconazole my infection is usually gone about after the third day. They want u to finish the full 7 days to mke sure its fully gone. Be careful if not you could give ur parter a yeast infection. Yes men can get yeast infection its called jock itch I gave it 2 my boyfriend I felt horrible. Just finish it. Does Miconazole 7 work as well as Monistat 7?
I know they are pretty much the same but do generic medicines work as well as the brand names? Asked by Brigitte Keadle 4 months ago.

In most every case, yes. The active ingredient in both Monistat 7 and Miconazole 7 is Miconazole Nitrate cream at a concentration of 2%. The only differences are some aesthetic things like the applicator. But, the active ingredient is the same. Answered by Polly Carnagey 4 months ago.

Honestly...I have found that Monistat 7 for whatever reason, does work better than the generic 7 day treatments! Answered by Gia Odonal 4 months ago.

If the generic drug didn't work, the name brand won't work either. If you don't know what is wrong, don't guess. Go be seen be a nurse. Answered by Johnathon Weinkauf 4 months ago.

Can i use the miconazole 7 the same day i had sex?
Im using my bfs account i just want to kno if i have itercourse or oral sex can i use the miconazole 7 the same day? Pls answerthank Asked by Louie Bissette 4 months ago.

why are you asking men ? Post in a different area Answered by Jesusa Vitkus 4 months ago.

Use it after having sex. You have a vagina yeast problem and the micconazole may cause itchy burning feeling in the vagina. So read the instructions carefully. Answered by Kera Weglage 4 months ago.

I need to know if a store brand is as good quality as the name brand on Miconazole 7. This is a vaginal?
antifungal cream that is to be used for 7 days for YEAST INFECTION. I need to know if the no-name is as good and the store brand. Asked by Reta Rolfsen 4 months ago.

My guess would be yes. I always buy the wal-mart or walgreens store brand of any medication or beauty product and have great results. The name brand stuff and generics have almost always (that I've used and read about) shown to be the exact same formulas, it's just that the name brand comes in fancier packaging. :) Answered by Oren Uzee 4 months ago.

Yes. It is. In fact plain old (no flavor) yogurt works wonders too. But yes, the cheaper and Miconazole 7 one is the same thing. Answered by Catherin Solly 4 months ago.

I have a yeast infection that keeps coming back right after I get it cleared up with Miconazole 7 cream.?
Every time I get it cleared up it comes back after a few days. Will my gynecolegist be able to give me something stronger and/or will he recommend me to not take baths any more (I don't like showers! -- I've always taken baths!) I hope he will be able to give me a stronger medicine. Asked by Latoria Stcyr 4 months ago.

you have answered your own question. It is likely the tub baths that are causing your problem. All the germs in the water destroy the balance in your vagina and poof, you get a yeast infection. Like it or not, tub baths are unhealthy. Answered by Regenia Lemear 4 months ago.

You may have had an allergic reaction to the medication. I would stop it and see if the swelling goes away. You can tell your doctor. The allergy may possibly be to the vehicle the medication is in (the ointment or cream). Also if you are using any wipes down there that is a common cause of a contact allergy. I would stop applying everything and ask your doctor for a true patch test. It will check for common contact allergies. Your doctor can treat you with an oral medication if your yeast infection is still giving you problems. Answered by Antoinette Strejan 4 months ago.

Maybe it's your diet. I heard several times that stress and loads of sugar in your diet cause yeast infections. Try eating healthy foods and the probiotic acidophilus aids in the protection of yeast infections. Answered by Rema Gehrking 4 months ago.

Wear Cotton underware.... Synthetic can cause you to have more outbreaks. If you are sexually active maybe your partner also has an yeast infection. But I would recommend you see your GYN.... Baths do not cause you to have more infections. Answered by Thu Jaret 4 months ago.

Maybe the Miconazole isn't totally clearing it up. I'm sure there are other antifungals you can use. Answered by Micaela Swauger 4 months ago.

No baths, stay away from douches, and make sure you change tampons regularly throughout the day. Answered by Casie Hegna 4 months ago.

Yes, your obgyn will give you one pill to take orally, it's an anti-fungal pill. One is all it takes to remove your infection. I just got the same thing. Go to the dr. Answered by Tanja Wolaver 4 months ago.

if it keeps coming back it could be something more than a yeast infection... Answered by Kyle Probus 4 months ago.

If this is the first time you have had this, don't take anything, you should go to your doctor. Regular physicians can see you as well if you don't have a GYN yet. Your regular family doctor can then give you a referral. If it smells fishy, it is NOT a yeast infection, and it will NOT be cured with over the counter meds. If it itches, burns, and the discharge looks kinda of clumpy, then it could very well be a yeast. You can find over the counter meds, and it works pretty well. The best is Monostat 1, its the most expensive, but its better because it works in one day. You can still use the cream your grandma gave you, just apply it around the opening of your vagina, and around your labia to relieve itching and burning. *You need to get the applicator with the capsule to put up there, the cream alone wont work. Also, be advised, that sometimes women have a natural discharge that cleans out the vagina. Sometimes this discharges can be clear, with an egg yolk consistency, to light pale yellow, to a white color. Since you are only 14, I would much rather have you go to a doctor so that they can better help you figure out exactly what it is. Remember, wear cotton panties, try NOT to wear thongs on a daily basis (they are not that sanitary) and for the time being, try not to wear tight jeans or any tights pants for that matter. The more sweat and moisture you allow in the vaginal area the worse it will be. Good Luck, make sure you make an appointment for yourself for good health! Answered by Rubi Hsi 4 months ago.

If you are prone to these, stay away from fermented cheeses, (aged cheeses) and white wine, any foods that are pickled. Eat plain yougurt. It's best to eat unsweetend, but if you must, use some honey. Ask your Dr. for some yogurt pills to put there. I hope it all works for you! Answered by Herta Dsouza 4 months ago.

go to the doctor u better off also eat lots of yogurt that help prevent and rid of minor yeast....but i still recommend going to the docs..even thought all they wiil priscribe is monistant...good luck Answered by Jimmy Cink 4 months ago.

put a gauze pad on your vagina and change it every so often and wait untill you go to the gyno, but only if its soon if not then go search how to use the cream on google Answered by Vito Somo 4 months ago.

soury??? what did you taste it? Answered by Jaymie Woiwode 4 months ago.

Is Miconazole cream supposed to dissolve?
I'm using the 7 day miconazole 7 cream, and im only on day 2. When I try to put the applicator in its really swollen, is the cream supposed to come out at all? I dont want to put too much in if none is coming out. Asked by Quintin Vonbraunsberg 4 months ago.

It gets absorbed by the vaginal walls. Continue with the 7 day treatment to make sure the infection gets resolved. Answered by Genie Hogan 4 months ago.
