Can I start loseasonique before my period?
I got it prescribed for the pain. So it's not for protection at all. Can I start it now, because it was also prescribed because of the irregularity of my periods. So I'm not sure when I'll get it. Can I start it NOW? Asked by Felicidad Muldrow 1 month ago.

loseasonique is an interesting birth control pill, in that you take the hormone for 84 days instead of the normal 21 day cycle, causing you to only have a 'period' once every three months. You of course are aware that this is a very low dose birth control pill, and as such many women experience spotting or vaginal bleeding (as in a period) even while on this medication. When was your last period? How long did it last? How irregular are they? I would say its probably ok to start the pills if you just had a period within the last month; however, you should check with your doctor if it was any longer than that to see when he/she wants you to start them. Answered by Evan Cookerly 1 month ago.

No. There is a reason they tell u to start the day ur period starts. Answered by Cheri Fennig 1 month ago.

It's best to start it when your doctor told you to. Answered by Arianna Curb 1 month ago.

I started taking LoSeasonique about 2 weeks ago. Since then i've been feeling really tired and I have a reddish brown discharge. I think the discharge MIGHT be my vagina cleaning itself out but you never know. But being tired is affecting school and I was wondering if it's normal to have side effects like tiredness, discharge and possible weight gain at the beginning? And will these stop once it regulates and how long does it take to regulate? Answered by Necole Rothe 1 month ago.

Tiredness and vaginal discharge are two of the listed side effects of LoSeasonique. Many women have spotting or light bleeding, or may feel sick to their stomach during the first few months of taking LoSeasonique. The problem will usually go away. If it doesn't go away, check with your healthcare provider. Answered by Tyree Neubecker 1 month ago.

Plan b while on loseasonique?
period is 7 weeks early Asked by Ola Rasco 1 month ago.

Not nessacarily. It more from the large amount of hormones. Please use a condom during the first month. It won't screw up your cycles and will allow the loseasonique to start regulating them. A wonderful side effect of hormonal birth control. Answered by Clorinda Maughan 1 month ago.

What do you think of LoSEASONIQUE?
I was on LoEstrin 24 Fe I was having more discharge so they put me on Desogen to see if that would help. I didn't much to any improvement so she just put me on this. Asked by Lynette Bream 1 month ago.

Out of curiosity, what were you on before and what was your doctor's reasoning for switching you to LoSEASONIQUE? I hear it is a new product and just like Seasonique, it gives you only 4 periods a year. The difference is that it is a lower dose of hormones. Answered by Boris Schaunaman 1 month ago.

My OB-GYN prescribed me this birthcontrol because my last one (YAZ) was giving me problems for about 2-3 years. I have problems with cramping. I take after my mom - when she was my age, her cramps were so painful that she had to be hospitalized. & For the past few months, my periods have been getting worse. The cramping is getting more severe & holding me back from doing anything when cramping. I wanted to try a new birthcontrol to see if it'll help. It was worrying me though because nothing was taking away the pain. I would take Midol, Ibprofen, Neproxen, etc. & nothing was helping. So, will this birthcontrol be better for me? What kind of side effects could occur when taking it? I'd really appreciate it if I got an answer. Answered by Marion Folken 1 month ago.

Sorry, a little bit off subject, but have you ever had your doctor check you for endometriosis? I also have debilitating periods and found out a couple of months ago that I most likely have endometriosis. I had never heard of it before and was surprised that this was brought up when I changed doctors. I too was prescribed LoSeasonique but as hormone therapy. I will also need to eventually have surgery to remove an implant. I had no idea that my painful periods were abnormal and that there could potentially be a cure... Anyways, just thought if you had never heard of it, you may want to read up on it and ask some questions. Answered by Mark Penberthy 1 month ago.

when you have the birthcontrol and you have just finished it start the next day soo if you ended that pack today restart your new pack with first pill tomorrow ... if you wait there will be or could be complications and it could lose effectivness... they only put that start sunday thing on there for when your starting a new bc or you havnt had it in a while its just a guidline to get you on track once you have got on track just continue with the pills on a daily basis ..... it helped me alot to put the days on each pack they come in strips on the instructions or they did .... hope i could help but yeah just proceed to take them and you should be good Answered by Marci Tingwald 1 month ago.

Was on loseasonique only took it for a month, could i have gotten pregnant during that month?
having morning sickness Asked by Else Carleo 1 month ago.

Yes, especially if you were not using any other method of birth control. Hormonal birth controls can take a week to a month to be entirely effective, depending on what type. (Call your pharamcist to find out when loseasonique becomes effective.) Answered by Alejandro Butkovich 1 month ago.
