Birth Control Lessina 28????
So I'm on lessina 28 and i was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for it to actually start to work before it makes the mucus thicker and that stuff like that. Asked by Reda Ferguson 4 months ago.

usually after 1 week you will be good as far as not getting preggers. But I think it takes a full pack before it helps your period to be lighter. Answered by Carleen Odonnel 4 months ago.

Im not sure if switching will affect you seeing as ive one been on one birth control pill, but I am taking Aviane and I love it! I have had no side affects, i lost several pounds, and my breasts have grown a bit. Everyone is different but in my opinion its a great pill! Answered by Kristyn Kovalaske 4 months ago.

What can i do to not feel this way from my pills..?
I've recently switched from lessina 28 to cryselle 28, and to put it in short terms, i feel like crap. My stomach feels hard as a rock, i feel bloated, i'm constipated. I'm on my second week and already feel so fat and uncomfortable. Is cryselle 28 really that much stronger than lessina? What can i do to not feel... Asked by Carolee Wurth 4 months ago.

Can I start taking my pill 2-3 days earlier than usual?
I'm currently taking Lessina (28 days) and every month I start my new pack on a Sunday. I want to start it on Friday instead so I don't get my period on Saturdays. Would this affect the effectiveness of the pill? Thanks! Asked by Chrissy Barjas 4 months ago.

I'm no medical expert, but I think you can typically start your pills whenever you want as long as your consistent. Sometimes I won't take the last one so I'll start sooner, etc. Maybe call your doc, but I dont think it should be a problem. Answered by Lorinda Catenaccio 4 months ago.

It might cause your period 2 come on earlier than usual and last longer than usual. It's up 2 you if you wanna take that chance Answered by Terrell Ezzelle 4 months ago.

Birth control question?

I've been taking Lessina 28 (levonorgestral and ethinyl estradiol) birth control since August 4th, 2010 (18 days) and my boyfriend and I have been sexually active for about six months (we use condoms and practice safe sex and all that fun stuff). I've been very good about taking it every day at the same time. I take it at 9pm and I have an alarm on my phone for it so I've never been more than 10 minutes late for it. I had to take it about 2 hours earlier on Friday because I wasn't going to be able to take it without being late, so I figured taking it early would be better than being late or not taking it at all. I researched my brand of birth control online to get information on it, and it said I had to take it for a whole week for it to become effective at preventing pregnancy. Knowing this, my boyfriend and I had sex earlier tonight without a condom (he and I have both been tested for STD's and we are both clean) and I allowed him ejaculate inside me (recently we've been using the pullout method except tonight, which was the first time he's ever come inside me unprotected). My question is, would taking my birth control earlier on Friday have disrupted the birth control? I took it again at 9 last night and at 9 again tonight, and I've been on it for just about 3 weeks, so I'm just about done with the pack and I'm pretty sure it's effective at this point. I have ways of getting the Plan B pill just in case, too, so we're both prepared for any unexpected surprises. Will I be okay or is there a slight chance of pregnancy because I took my pill earlier one day? Thanks :) Answered by Nga Zens 4 months ago.

two hours should not effect it in any way, but you should still not let your boyfriend ejaculate inside of you unless you are prepared for the baby that may come. No birth control is perfect. Answered by Steven Silvis 4 months ago.

There should be no reason that 2 hours would affect the strength. Answered by Verona Szal 4 months ago.

I'm on Yaz (which I don't suggest, horrible side effects lol) and just in case I waited like a month to allow my boyfriend to come inside me. But you need to know if your pills are FULL horomone, or just the low version. because if you mess up times a little bit on the HIGHER dosage of horomone than things can screw up more than if you messed up a little on the lower horomone. But honestly, a couple hours difference I can't see a problem. just KEEP up with your pills! and if you notice any unwanted weight gain or headaches PLEASE switch right away! I wish I did :( ahah. I mean I'm not fat al all but it's not a good kind of shape to me, I'd rather have tight muscle thighs than jiggly ones :p Answered by Kindra Cherrie 4 months ago.

I was recently put on Lessina 28. I started taking it last Thursday, meaning just 15 minutes ago I took my 6th pill. Before starting on birth control, I had maybe two pimples, and they weren't that bad. Starting around the third day, I noticed my skin getting worse. Now on the 6th day I have about 15 pimples, all over my face, and they are very bad. If it has any relevance, I am 15, 5'4", and about 103 pounds. I use Exposed Skincare System, and oil free makeup. The only think in my routine that has changed lately is the birth control. Are these breakouts normal? Will they go away? Because if this acne will be a permanent problem I don't think I'll continue to take it. Answered by Jeremy Roever 4 months ago.

you see, advertisers of skin care treatments learned long ago that the more one worries about their skin, the worse their skin will be, and the more sales they will generate. basically, what this means is the more you worry yourself over it, the more pimples you will get. its totally natural to have pimples at your age, though if you want to minimize their effect, try to eat more vegetables, stress less, use a facial scrub, don't ever squeeze them, and try to gain some control over your hormones. (basically that means don't think about sex all the time) . Thanks for Yahooing! [email protected] Answered by Willette Prillaman 4 months ago.

Every pill effects every girl differently. When I first started birth control, it gave me the worst cramps and heaviest bleeding of my life. So I went back and they switched me to a different pill and now my periods are light with way less cramps. The same can happen for acne. Give it a month or two, and if it doesn't go away, you need to go back and get put on a different pill. But give it at least a month to go away first. Answered by Erika Weiland 4 months ago.

Im on Lutera, another form of birth control and man do I tell you, I've never had pimples in my life till now. But I rather have these pimples that go away in a couple of days and have my periods shortened to 2 days!! Answered by Billie Memmott 4 months ago.

Everyone reacts differently with the hormones in the birth control. That's how your body is reacting to your current birth control. You can try going on a different pill to see if that will help clear your skin. Answered by Doug Schnieder 4 months ago.

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing... Get Rid Of Acne Permanently? Answered by Whitney Carolla 4 months ago.

the same thing happened when i got on bc. the only explanation my doctor gave was the change in the hormone levels in your body. It went away for me, but would reoccur if i went off it for a week then started back again (BAD idea anyway). It should go away. Good luck! Answered by Mi Ramagano 4 months ago.
