The week of brown pills are iron supplements (Fe=Iron). Your doctor probably put you on Junel Fe because you could use the extra iron. The brown pills contain no hormones-- regardless of whether you choose to take them or not, you will still get your period that week. If you want to skip your period due to a special event falling that week, talk to your doctor to see whether it's ok to just start the new pack straightaway. I've been on Junel Fe for a while now, and if you have my luck, your period will be so light on it that you'll barely notice it. Answered by Bo Carrig 3 months ago.

Its a combined contraceptive Pill- it works as an effective birth control, protecting against pregnancy and may help with period problems. I think Junel Fe is only available in the USA. Answered by Rebeca Anklam 3 months ago.
if its a birth control it prevents pregnancy, but ask a dr to be sure Answered by Tran Kubasik 3 months ago.

I've gagged a few times but I'm worried if I throw up I'll throw up my birth control too. If I gag again, should I just let myself throw up or should I just hold it back? Answered by Val Cruthirds 3 months ago.
I would recommend letting it go (meaning to go ahead and throw it up), but I would recommend checking with your doctor first before you do it. Answered by Kerry Belshaw 3 months ago.

I went on this birth control pill about a year ago... my gyno calls it Microgestin but the packet says Junel Fe... since I've been on it I've been having these recurring yeast infections and about 2 months ago began breaking out horribly on my face. I've never had acne like this before, even before I was on the pill, and it just won't go away. I've tried to change a few times, but he keeps telling me to stick it out. I had a really terrible psychological reaction to Yasmin so the fact that this pill doesn't affect me emotionally is keeping my gynocologist sort of set on it. Is anyone else on this pill experiencing similar reactions? And what can I do about my skin while on the pill if a healthy diet and thorough cleaning does nothing? No, I am not taking Junel Fe 1/20. But I do know, that it can cause bad side effects like nausea and vomiting and cramps.... They are both the same, there is no difference... Answered by Joie Thiesfeld 3 months ago.
I'm taking Junel FE 1/20 and I've never had a problem with it. Been on it for almost 2 years now. Works great. Answered by Lee Lybarger 3 months ago.
As long as you've been taking the pills as directed, your birth control should have been in effect when your boyfriend ejaculated inside of you. Since you started taking Junel Fe 1/20 on the first day of your period, it was most likely working by the time this happened. If you're still concerned, we recommend talking to your health care provider. Answered by Antonio Muzacz 3 months ago.

Is junel fe 1.5/30 a good birth control pill?
Asked by Ja Lafrate 3 months ago.
Depends on what you use it for.. I take it because I had really bad periods that would last for 7 days and be extremely heavy with god awful cramps. The first month was horrible because I got my period three times (a few clean days in between each one) the second month, I didn't see much change. I'm on my third month now, and halfway through the packet I got my period. One noticeable difference is that my cramps are SO much better and don't last long. But I guess I haven't been taking it long enough to fully answer your question. My gyno says that if it does work, i'll give me three periods a year.. Answered by Caron Hartshorn 3 months ago.
