Hi This may be of help. I used intal for years. The suppliers/manufacturers of intal stopped supplying to the UK a couple of years ago and I hounded my Dr for mounths as it was a rare med with no steroid in. (Although I am a (55yrs) and intal was primarily a med for the young, it worked for me) The outcome was that intal is still supplied to parts of Europe but is no longer on the UK medical lists and highly unlikley to be reinstated. I still want to know why it was removed? I have not felt as well as I did on intal. For your swimming, check with your Dr first, but as a past national swimmer (Yrs ago) try not having any dairy foods in a 6hr period before training, no junk foods but small pasta dishes or low GI foods prior to training. Lots of high enery but not high sugar. Do loads of beep breathing and be sure you take your ventalin or what ever you are prescribed on days you swim. Ask your Dr about SMART. a system used in the UK. Hope that helps X Ultrasonic. Answered by Sasha Lions 1 year ago.

Why was Intal inhaler removed from the market?
I can answer this question and all intal users and friends and family should be enraged. Intal was removed from the market in the USA in March 2010. It worked for me beautifully even tho I am a sr citizen with exercise induced asthma. Intal was removed not because of side effects as they are few. It was removed... It worked for me beautifully even tho I am a sr citizen with exercise induced asthma. Intal was removed not because of side effects as they are few. It was removed because the propellant is CFC (chloroflourocarbon) which was removed from market in stages starting with the inception of I think EPA. It is feared (I believe wrongfully) that the tiny amount of CFC (the propulsion agent) is considered a risk to the ozone layer. This would mean that they are more afraid that it is of greater concern that a snail darter could get sunburned than are all of the asthma sufferers health. Now if that does not make you blood boil, well you are more patient than I. Answered by Avery Siedel 1 year ago.

How many of your friends have / had cataracts? How many have small skin cancers removed, or have died because of it? If you are as old as you say you are... you should know quite a few. CFCs play a part in decreasing ozone levels in the ozone layer, which increases the amount of UV-B that strikes Earth's surface, which in turn kills us and our food supplies. What should make your blood boil is that one of the more expensive propellants that doesn't interact with your drug, and doesn't deplete the ozone layer, isn't used in your chosen delivery package. Really, rather than not asking a question, why don't you quit using this platform to *****? Why don't you ask the drug company what their problem is? They have known this was coming for what, 30 years? Seriously... Answered by Marjory Cuozzo 1 year ago.
