Neutrogena Skin Clearing Foaming Face Wash OR Gamophen - which is a good ol' medicated/antibacterial soap (I'm sure you can find something similar at any pharmacy). It's great at removing dirt/oil/makeup, just make sure you moisturize afterwards as your skin will be quite dry. I have sensitive/acne prone skin and these are my two favourite products ... and trust me, I've tried everything! Answered by Tristan Medvec 1 year ago.
Ivory soap and water. Less than a dollar for 3 bars, available at Wal-mart. I can't use cleansers, they are too harsh and irritate my skin. Answered by Jerica Krausz 1 year ago.
I use Neutragena and it works very well!!All the blemishes go away within a few days. I really recomend it! Hope this helped. Answered by Cyndy Braisted 1 year ago.

i wanted to put vogurt and avocado or w/e on my face cuz it really works and it's natural but my sister is like "it's like putting **** on your face" so i cant. -.- omg and my nose is always red, i look like rudolph D: i put foundation and now pimples getting worst. how can i stop redness and stop from breaking out srsly :( i get comments im ugly cuz of it Answered by Marth Wunder 1 year ago.
Below is what i use on my face, i needed something that was going to work within a month, because i was competing in a modeling comp, and it worked wonders, i had flawless, glowing gorgeous skin. Im a model now, and stick to this plan daily and the only time i get problems is when i get my period, drink alchohol, or eat chocolate!!! How old are you> Sometimes you can be at a certain ages(puberty) where you are just going to have to get usto the pimples. it sucks, but its just what happens My suggestion useing 1)Garnier-Deep clean Foaming wash;Use this morning and night, with warm water a face cloth and circular motions. dry your face after 2)Biore-Triple action toner-Using cotton makeup rounds, place a generous amount onto cotton pad makeup round and palce on face. let it dry in 3)Benzyl peroxide(start off with 2.5% than go to 5%.), This is the active ingredient in proactive, so this product may not work for you(it doesnt work for many people, causing more redness, so it may not be good in your case as your skin is allready prone to redness), so if not, i would suggest OXY acne solution creams. This is a 3 step process, which you must continue twice daily, every day. if you want something cheaper for you face wash, try Gamophen, comes in a soap, but its not a soap, its for your face :) -Try also to wash your wash after swetting, being around dirt etc. -Get your hairy out of your face. -Use a proper, non oily sunscreen(i dont use sunscreen at all, it causes me to break out) -stay away from chocolate. soda, etc -Have Cod Liver Tablets daily, from chemist.(they dont have on the packet that its good for your face. but trust me, its great for your skin). -I have 2 carrots daily, helps also with your skin -drink plenty of water This is what i follow, day in day out, and know i have amazing clear skin, about 6 months ago, it was horrible . Let me know how you go. hope it works P,s- I add bio oil to the 3 step process- i follow step 1 and 2, and on step 3 i use benzoyl peroxide(clearasil extra strength 8hour cream) on the areas prone to pimples, which on me is only my chin. On the rest of the face i use bio-oil, which helps even out face tones, but in your case will decrease and eliminate the pimple scars as it is specifically made for removal of scars. However, i would not use this as of yet, as it might cause oilness and more pimples. So wait until you have eliminated your pimples nad have them under control before useing bio oil to eliminate the scaring. DONT PICK YOUR PIMPLES!! EVER. it only makes it worse. trust me Answered by Malena Bastress 1 year ago.
I know, being a teen is rough sometimes! But you shouldn't give up! What I'm going to do it give you a bunch of recommendations. Now, these products and tips I'm going to give you are not pricey nor hard to keep up with so no worries. 1. Drink lots of water, and I mean lots! Water keeps skin hydrated and keep your skin clear. + also try drinking green tea ! 2. Exercise! Just trust me ;) 3. Don't eat or drink greasy/sugary things. At least keep it on the down low because those foods make your skin oily and break out easily and fast. Avoid pop, candy, fried foods and fast food. 5. Wash your face no more than 2 times a day. In the morning and before you go to bed. 6. Try wearing makeup no longer than 8 hours a day. 7. DON'T touch your face or pick on it. On your fingers and in your nails there are lots of germs and bacteria that may affect your face when touched. 8. When treating acne try more natural remedies at home. Don't go for the chemically filled products - they don't work well and dry out your skin. 9. Stress level must go down. Many people breakout because of stress. 10. Accept it and accept yourself! If you have a bit of acne, it wont be there forever and lots of people your age have it! You're not the only one ! Here are products that I use: I had some body breakouts and I used : BODY CLEAR® Body Wash Pink Grapefruit by Neutrogena and Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray which worked really well. For my face I use : Clean and Clear advantage blackhead clearing astringent and tea tree skin clearing foaming cleanser which is from the Body Shop in Canada, so if you live in Canada your in luck if you want to get it. Otherwise, try getting something natural and/or oil-free. Exfoliating (you should do like 3 times a week) : Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub Mask (twice a week) : Honey and Oat 3-in-1 scrub mask from The Body Shop . Find a mask that will work for you ! All masks work pretty well. I like the one I used because it cleanses, polishes and moisturizes. For healing acne scars : I use vitamin E oil for it fades scars and promotes faster healing. *Hope this works for you! If it doesn't work the way you wished, consider visiting a dermatologist ! GOOD LUCK! Answered by Shanita Kivett 1 year ago.
Good for you! You should NEVER use toothpaste on your skin! There are too many varieties with ingredients that are harmful to the skin. It sounds like you have rosacea-it's hereditary. And if you do have it, stay AWAY from Pro-Active! It will tear your skin up! Rosacea often comes with acne, and most products will do nothing but makes it worse. Check the sources below for some good info on how to care for your skin. My daughter had rosacea very badly, and I'm going to give you the recipe that helped cure her skin. Today, you would not be able to tell she EVER had a problem with it! Flax Seed Oil (1000 mg daily) Fish Oil (1000 mg daily) Biotin (hair, skin, nail vitamin) Rosacea doesn't start ON the skin, it starts in your body. These oils and vitamin really help to improve the overall health of the skin. Grape seed oil (buy from a Whole Foods/organic food store--a bottle lasts forever!). This product was THE first thing that actually worked to moisturize and heal her skin. (ALWAYS apply moisturizers to damp skin.) Green Tea Toner: 1 cup hot water. Add 2-3 green tea bags. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then chill in refrigerator. Use for toner, before bed, and even under makeup. It's an anti-inflammatory and will help heal your skin, too. Egg yolk mask: 1 egg yolk. 1 Tablespoon warm olive oil. 1 Tablespoon RAW honey (has the antibacterial ingredients in it). Mix. Apply to skin with old, clean blusher brush. Leave on 20 minutes. Rinse with warm then cool water. Apply green tea toner. (This is a moisturizing mask--which rosacea folks need. Stay away from egg white masks in your case.) OCCASIONAL Exfoliant (Cannot use too often on rosacea because it is drying--but helps with the bumps--maybe 1-2 times per week to get rid of old skin cells) 2-3 aspirin, dissolve in a few drops of water or aloe vera gel. Using your fingers, gently, gently scrub your entire face. Let sit on the face for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm, then cool water. Apply green tea toner. If you can get it, Un-Petroleum Jelly is also a great moisturizer (google it!). Nothing harmful in it for rosacea patients, and works on ALL skin types. Just a TINY dab on damp skin is enough--costs about $5, lasts forever. You are going to have to be very careful of makeup ingredients, moisturizers, etc., because they will definitely be a problem for rosace. See the source for some of those ingredients--and avoid any products with them. Hope this helps! Good luck! Answered by Nikki Fairly 1 year ago.
I used to have that problem. Wash you face with WATER, do NOT use soap, as soon as you wake up, before putting on makup, as soon as you get home, and before bed. If you drink green tea use the teabag on you face after you finish your tea, its really good for your skin. I do a facial once a week, good things to use are whipped egg whites, honey, and clay. but not all at the same time. Steam your face before doing a facial to open your pores. Sleep with your hair pulled back out of your face because hair oils can cause acne. Change your pillow case often. Constantly wash your hands, people don't realize how much they touch their face with dirty hands! Answered by Damian Bicknell 1 year ago.
