I would not go for separate tablets, unless advised by your own health professional whether it be doctor or obs/gyno. Now i'm in 5th month, starting from 1st month of preg. doctor prescribed duphaston tabs and folvite tabs. last week doctor advised me to go blood test for TSH. it revealed the higher level than the normal i.e., 7. and my BP is 150/84. I affraid, whether it may affect my baby? and please anybody clarify me whether these BP and thyroid are temporary during pregnancy or it may continue lifelong? Answered by Kam Buerge 1 year ago.

I am 36 wks pregnant and am 32 years old. I have had high BP since I was 21. I had to discontinue the type of BP meds I was on and switch. Your OB might have to try some other meds to find one that will control your BP. I'm not too sure if high BP in the fifth month will harm the baby, but I'm sure it is not helping. My OB told me that if my BP became out of control at 36 wks that they will have to induce labor in order not to do any harm to me or the baby. So far so good for me. I als have a low thyroid, why aren't you on Synthroid or something like it? Synthroid is fine to take, actually good, while pregnant. Please call your OB and find out what you need to do. If he doesn't take care of these issues, find another doctor. I doubt at this point in your pregnancy the baby is affecting your BP, not sure about the thyroid but I would doubt it, too. Answered by Lucretia Shear 1 year ago.

I am hypothyroid, I was diagnosed just before I got preggo, I was told to just keep taking my meds cuz the baby can't regulate his thyroid for a while. I have recently been told my BP is running a little high and I was told it can restrict the flow in the placenta causing the baby to run small. So I have to go for NST's twice a week. I'm sure your doctor will keep a close eye on you. You should ask you doctor about this to for more info. Answered by Brigitte Yannotti 1 year ago.

Dear Sir my father is a patient of Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay since 3 years but unfortunately the deases of my father is on control but not cured like my father is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, anemia, diabetes and high blood pressure since 5 years. Before 1 year when my father was at assam suddenly he fainted in the morning and next day also he fainted like that it goes for some days while he was fainted his eyes were wide open and his lips were pale.We checked the random sugar level and it was normal nearly 120.After that we went to chennai apollo for checkup where he was done a lots of tests including MRI ,colour dopler, ct scan, etc but failed to find the actual reason of faintaing. After that we came back to kolkata and after few months he again fall ill and was admitted to Apollo Gleneagles kolkata and was diagnosed pneumonia and staphylococcal septicaemia.Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay saaid that my Dad had a minor attack of stroke and also he was talking like a mad,non meningful talks constently. Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay stopped all the medicine prescribed by chennai Apollo hospital. Now for long 6 months he is taking the medicines prescribed by Dr Syamasis Bandyopadhyay the medicine are tablet Pantocid it,Minipres-xl 5mg ,wysolone 2.5mg tablet cetapin xr 500 ,amaryl 2mg,nexito 5mg ,stamlo 2.5mg, tablet folvite,p650,lonazep 0.5mg.He also has a eye problem on right eye cataract, and glaucoma and the medicine for eye is gatilox eye drop, homarin forte eye drop, prednisolone acetate eye drop ,combigan eye drop. Now my Dad cant stand without the help of Walker nor he can stand by his own without our help even he has to do toilet on the bed. Now the matter of concern is that today on 11/02/2010 at nearly 2pm while he was sitting in a chair near the dining table he was feeling sleepy and ill.He asked my mom to give him lunch and immediately asked for water but before she could give it he fainted. His eyes became wide open and lips pale.We sprinkled lots of water gave him water to drink and after trying for 2 minutes or so he regained his senses. As he was hungry we gave him buiscuits and water. After almost 20 minutes of that we gave him his lunch but after swallowing it once he vomited. After that we again gave him his lunch about 45 minutes later and he could consume it then. So Sir Please do help us by providing the best treatment to make our father move and make him healthy and get rid from the fainting problem your advice is highly appreciated thanking you your sincearly Answered by Elke Sood 1 year ago.

This is impossible to answer with any authority. Your poor father must feel dreadful to say the least. The side effects of so many drugs he is taking is dizziness, headaches, feeling faint. The side effects of others include agitation, sleeplessness, gastric disturbances. If he were my father I would arrange to take him back to Chennai Apollo for a thorough evaluation of his condition and a review of his treatment. The hospital has an excellent reputation. I do not know how far away the hospital is for you and if he could stand the journey. He is a very sick man, it might be kinder to cut his drugs down to the essential minimum. If he could not stand the journey perhaps one or two of the specialist there could help you by reviewing his drug regime and your description of his condition. I wish you and your father all the luck in the world. Answered by Cecille Kinzie 1 year ago.

This is a tough one. I think you should stay until your father is able to work. You said that he is recovered enough to work now, but you need to be sure of that if you're not sure. The thing about illness (especially cancer) is that even after all the operations are over, it can take a very long time for a patient to stop feeling tired and weak. Even if your dad seems fine, he may not be. Maybe you could drive him to a doctor's appointment and ask the doctor about his fitness for work, or get this information from your mother? Once you are convinced he can work, my question for you is, have you spoken with your dad about this issue at all? Even if he is hard to talk to, you need to keep trying. Let him get angry. The best way to deal with people like this is to stay totally calm. Focus on the problem and don't respond to any mean personal comments. Don't let him turn the conversation to something else to avoid the subject. Keep your words brief so he gets the message. Make sure your mother is in the room when you talk to him so that he can't pretend the conversation didn't happen and avoid dealing with this that way. Say something like: "Dad, I want to move out. Right now, my contribution is helping keep you guys in the house and pay the bills. I didn't want to leave you while you were sick, but you're better now. I'm planning on moving out X months from now, so that's when my contribution will stop. You're obviously going to need a job by then. I'm worried about Mom being left homeless if you don't." Notice that these are just the facts. Don't say anything more. It is true that your dad needs to get off his behind, but if you say that, he will get defensive and stop listening. He is an adult and he can connect the dots to know that he needs to be more responsible. If he gets angry, if he refuses to listen, simply stay calm and repeat this information until he gets the message. I would give him about three or four months until the deadline. Then every couple of weeks, ask how the job search is going and remind everyone that you will be moving out on X date. Then in private, spell out for your mother that you are concerned she could lose the house if your dad doesn't find work. She probably already knows that, but might need a reminder. Maybe she will say something to your dad. You need to understand that you simply do not have the ability to keep her in the house by yourself. She needs to step up and start participating in her marriage. It is not your job to tell your dad to get work; it's hers. Now, your dad might not get off his behind and your mother might not pressure him to get off his behind. You should help them as much as you can, but don't ruin your own future by helping them to be dysfunctional. Again, you can't be responsible for them at your age. You are not making enough money to deal with their financial issues. Good luck. Answered by Floretta Vire 1 year ago.

I don't know why you are so confused. You ARE pregnant, I know for a fact if you had those HCG levels that they TOLD you you are pregnant. Where is the confusion?? Just get a multivitamin or flinstone vitamins is what I took last pregnancy and this current pregnancy. Answered by Misti Senate 1 year ago.

So Sir Please do help us by providing the best treatment to make our father move and make him healthy and get rid from the fainting problem your advice is highly appreciated thanking you your sincearly Answered by Lala Widrig 1 year ago.

Answered by Lise Snyder 1 year ago.

Good luck. Answered by Gaynelle Saville 1 year ago.
