Is there a difference between Fastin and Adipex?
I know Fastin is no longer on the market, but Adipex has more phentermine in it. SO I am trying to figure out what the difference between them was.
Asked by Eleanor Bordenkircher 1 year ago.
Fastin is a drug similar to amphetamine used for appetite suppression, with the generic name phentermine. The scientific term for this kind of drug is sympathomimetic amine. Brand names include Fastin, Adipex-P, Ionamin, Obenix, Oby-Cap, Teramine and Zantryl. Taking Fastin along with other diet medications can lead to a fatal lung disease called pulmonary hypertension. Do not take it along with other diet pills without your doctor's approval. Side effects can include depression and extreme tiredness, dangerously high blood pressure, severe headaches, blurred vision, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, uneven heartbeats, seizure. Fastin has not been produced since December 1998, when the American medical authorities made SK-Beecham withdraw Fastin from the market. Fastin is no longer produced and sold since Ionamin and Adipex diet pills were launched. Hi-Tech Pharmeceuticals acquired the rights to the formula and modified it to make it safe for over-the-counter sales. Adipex falls unde the same category, another sympathomimetic amine. It is simply another name for the same kind of drug, and you will find there is really no difference. Phentermine is available with a prescription under the brand name Adipex and was previously available under the brand name Fastin. Don't be fooled by the name change. Pharmaceutical companies like to play the shell game to fool consumers. You should be aware that the side effects of taking these kinds of drugs can be very risky, although it is still approved by the FDA for obesity. Make sure to follow your doctor's advice when dealing with these risky drugs. Answered by Sherry Dietz 1 year ago.
The answer is YES. Fastin is a natural dietary supplement manufactured by Hi Tech Pharma in Atlanta, GA. It is not a drug and does not require a prescription. Adipex is a drug. As a drug it requires a prescription from a doctor. It is an amphetamine commonly known as phentermine. Answered by Alphonse Scholten 1 year ago.

Is fastin a reliable weight loss supplement?
Asked by Shirleen Bugayong 1 year ago.
Why don't you just get off your A** and EXERCISE??? And quit eating doughnuts and start eating fruits and veggies. THAT'S HOW YOU LOSE WEIGHT. NOT BY POPPING PILLS THAT HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN APPROVED BY THE FDA. Seriously, you must be crazy if you wanna put something in your body that you don't even know how it's gonna react. There are so many benefits to exercise: reduced stress, improved well being, reduced risk for diabetes and heart disease, reduced risk for certain cancers... the list goes on. i attempted Phentermine as quickly as--it became as quickly as only one low dose pill as quickly as an afternoon for style of two months. It did a nicely technique--I wasn't very hungry, had a brilliant number of vigour and pounds began melting off me (and saved on)--i ended up dropping like 30 pounds. Now, nonetheless, I had won weight (40 pounds) and became as quickly as only presently pointed out with severe hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) that's in maximum situations in charge for the burden gain. The known practitioner won't prescribe ANY diet pill--says only pass on diet (in spite of the undeniable fact that hence a approaches diets have not worked in any admire). So, that's as much as you to return to a decision. i did no longer get exhilaration from any risky effect with Phentermine. I even have tried Alli (over the counter like Meridia) in spite of the undeniable fact that it did no longer do besides the fact that (lots of the time by using actuality that there is not any longer that lots fat in my diet for it to bind with). some people have subject concerns with phentermine and a brilliant number of medical doctors will in all likelihood no longer prescribe it it is not important what by using actuality that it became as quickly as a million/2 of the infamous Phen-Fen that precipitated distinctive center subject concerns. maximum will say Phentermine by way of itself is okay, in spite of the undeniable fact that do no longer prescribe it as nicely. How good is pill Fastin?
Can I add that I have experience with diet pills. I took OEP before trying to get some added energy but I didnt like the way it made me feel. I dont want the diet pill to loos weight. I want a lot lot lot of extra energy.
Asked by Clarita Hagadorn 1 year ago.
Hi~~~ What I think: It works well by suppresing my appettite Side effects I experienced: 1) On the first day, I was completely drained out of energy and had to stay in my bed the whole day. But it's strange that most people report that they had increased energy. I guess it works differently for others. 2) Felt so weird. Especially, only on the first day, for me my hear beated quite fast and I was sweating and sort of huffing when I was lying down. It felt like I was exercising. As day passes, my body got used to it and didn't have the same problems. The bad part: The pill tastes quite bitter so you should swallow before having to taste it. The good part: I really did not have much appetite Things You should note: 1) There are actually two kinds of Fastin. The prescriptioned one and the non-prescriptioned one. There difference is that the non-prescription contains Phenylethylamine, and the prescriptioned one contains Phentermine. 2) I do not know this for sure, because I haven't tried the real one, but I read many reviews and heard that the fake one isn't effective as the real. Some report having lost 40lbs in 3 weeks. However the fake one works too but just slowly like at average 5~10lbs weight loss per week. 3) I even heard something about the prescriptioned fastin being banned and that's why they have created the non-prescriptioned kind. 4) You lose the most on the first day, it gradually comes off slower as time pases. But don't give up! 5) Remember, everyone is different and therefore, can experience different symptoms. 6) Don't ever exceed the reccomended amount. Trust me, you don't want to go there. 7.) Paying over $40 is a rip off, it costs less than that. You can purchase this by: 1) Walmart 2) Drugstores like Walgreens 3) On Amazon or other trusted sights. IMPORTANT:3 someday it might stop working, if you take long breaks from it and take it again, it starts to work again! No one can pressure to try this. Do purchase one if you really want to try it. Good Luck! :) Answered by Shelli Castellano 1 year ago.
Sure, they work, provided you follow ALL of the diet and exercise guidelines that come along with those pills. Because the diet and exercise do the work. The pill does nothing. If you cavalierly dismiss all of the opinions that say - these do not work - then you ignore a lot of experience, knowledge and facts. At worst, it may contain compounds that are dangerous. In any case - what would you do after you lose the desired weight? Keep taking the pills for the rest of your life, or learn how to eat properly and exercise appropriately? The second part is what you need to do now. The pills are a crutch. Answered by Drucilla Follman 1 year ago.
Hi, this is funny - I Googled "Fastin" b/c WalMart stopped carrying it, and there's only one bottle of the non-time release on CVS's shelf today. Well, I haven't found out yet. However, I'm not all that interested in losing weight, either, although It would be nice. I take this for energy, and it gives me big time energy!! I really like it for that!! I don't take it daily for energy, though. I have ADD, and am prescribed methylphenidate for that. I alternate them, sometimes one, sometimes the other. They both do about the same thing. I sure don't like the price: $30 or so, although I've gotten it on sale, too. I haven't been taking it all that long, this might be my 3rd month. I just got the idea that it might work to take one of those OTC diet pills for energy, and sure enough!! I'll see how it goes! Well, good luck to YOU!! Answered by Kisha Harrington 1 year ago.
I could in no way order any healing offline quite simply when you consider that you have no idea if that enterprise is reliable or what they'll or is probably not setting up the tablets your shopping, in which they're storing them or in which they're being synthetic. You is probably not equipped to preserve a web-based enterprise dependable if some thing horrible occurs from taking the tablets when you consider that in a heartbeat they may be able to delete the web page like they in no way existed. At least with the general practitioner, you recognize they're certified to prescribe meds and you'll be able to preserve them dependable for whatever that occurs. desire this is helping. Phetermine vs Fastin....Anyone know?
I thought Phetermine was the generic for Fastin? If that is the case how come I can get Fastin without a prescription and need one for Phetermine.....Secondly, does anyone know where can go online and get the real phetermine without a prescription
Asked by Florentina Grisham 1 year ago.
Phentermine is the active ingredient in Fastin. Phentermine is still a prescription drug though. It depends on where you are getting Fastin from. Clinics/pharmacies are not allowed by policy to give Rx drugs w/o a prescription. However, there are internet pharmacies that may sell it, but that is an illegal practice. I don't want to be preachy, but am concerned. I'm sure you read the news releases on internet pharmacies. There are certainly many reliable ones, and internet shopping has been beneficial for convenience, privacy, and what we really love --> direct price competition. But because the internet offers more anonymity, you are less protected by the law in regards to ensuring the sites - post accurate claims - sell what they claim they are selling (in the clinic I get trained at, I remember a patient bringing in what was supposed to be Viagra, we did a chemical assay on it, and it was just placebo contaminated with asbestos!) Also, many prescribed medications need a healthcare provider to monitor for purposes of safety in the event of things such as rare drug reactions, and some drugs are only approved for temporary use (side effects from chronic use may still be researched). Phentermine is typically prescribed for several weeks, a number of months at max. Also, unfortunately, if diet and exercise are not maintained after use, weight is commonly regained :(. Where can i buy phentermine with out a rx? has anyone tried the brand fastin and does it work as well?
i want to buy phentermine without a rx, but dont want to pay an arm and a leg for it. i also heard of a brand called fastin, supposed to be same, but i have never tried it... does it work as well and where is a reputable site to get either from?
Asked by Magaret Nett 1 year ago.
Fastin, Phentermine. Adipex, Ionamin .. it's all the same stuff.. just check wikipedia for phentermine.. there are also some other names I have forgot.. But don't buy it online.. please!! Phentermine is highly regulated these days. It's next to impossible to get it, even over the internet, without a prescription. And even if you do find a site, it's probably not a reputable one. Scammers are starting to post links even here on yahoo answers (Scam sites are selling fake pills that just sound like phentermine - phenhermine, phentrimine and many more..) The only way is to get it from a doctor. None of the people I know who once ordered phen online still do it. The good online pharmacies have stopped selling it, and just scammers are left who gladly take an advantage of this situation. If you will find a real and reliable source where you can still order the real stuff online then you will be very, very lucky. Just keep fingers crossed the pharmacy will be in business until your order arrives, because it can get closed any moment.. I stopped using phen 9 months ago and started to take acomplia after I quit phen. It also works fine for me and I am losing a pound or a few every week. It is very popular in UK, Germany and many other countries worldwide. Not so much in the US yet. This is good site for Acomplia info if anyone's interested Answered by Katherin Strzyzewski 1 year ago.

Fastin is marketed by a company called Hi Tech Pharmaceuticals. The free sample is just there way of getting you to try the product and then hopefully you will order it direct from the manufacturer. I know that a bottle of 60 caps retails for $89.00. I know that the product is a thermogenic supplement so its designed to help you burn fat by helping your body increase its brown adipose tissue. Make sure you read the package carefully and do not try this product if you have any conditions listed on the sample. Answered by Xochitl Hagans 1 year ago.
