What's the difference between a EpiPen and a EpiPen jr?
i was wondering because i have the EpiPen jr Asked by Brandy Symmonds 1 year ago.

The differance is the dose Emma. An adult EpiPen has 0.3mg of (1:1000) concentration epinephrine. While the pediatric version the Epipen, the Epipen jr. has half the dose at 0.15mg (1:1000) concentration epinephrine. As smaller patient's need less medicine to stop an anaphylactic reaction from occurring. Thanks for the great question Emma! Answered by Leigh Hendee 1 year ago.

How can I get an EpiPen for my first aid kit?
I would like to get an EpiPen (epinephrin auto-injector) for my first aid kit but I don't have a prescription. I am only interested in legal ways of getting one. I would like to get an EpiPen (epinephrin auto-injector) for my first aid kit but I don't have a prescription. I am only interested in legal ways of getting one. Perhaps someone knows of a company in another country that doesn't require a prescription and that ships to the United States. I want one because I have never been stung by a bee and I don't want to find out that I'm allergic while I'm camping in the middle of nowhere. It also seems to be a good thing to keep around in case someone unknowingly eats shellfish, peanuts, etc. and doesn't have their own EpiPen with them. Or, would it be possible for me to get a prescription because my father is allergic to bees? Thanks for any help. Answered by Meghan Swanhart 1 year ago.

Hey hun, Unfortunately, even if you purchase the Epi-Pen through another country, having it in the US without a prescription still makes it illegal. Best thing to do is have allergy tests done at your doctor's office and to put Benadryl in your First Aid Kit for allergic reactions. If someone you are with has a severe allergy, they should be reminded to bring along their EpiPen. And, also remember that if they do use their EpiPen, it doesn't replace the need to go to the Emergency Room. "EpiPen is manufactured by DEY L.P. EpiPens are commonly carried by persons with severe allergies and a risk of anaphylactic shock because they can be self-administered and are very fast-acting. In the UK and US, EpiPens are regulated medical devices and require a medical prescription. In Canada, EpiPens may be purchased without a prescription, but they are kept behind pharmacy counters." **************************************... EpiPen FAQs- "Q: Do I need a prescription to buy EpiPen/EpiPen Jr.? A: No. EpiPen/EpiPen Jr. is available for purchase without a prescription in Canada. However, it is kept behind the pharmacy counter and a prescription may be required in order to receive reimbursement from certain insurance providers." Answered by Bill Honchul 1 year ago.

You can carry homeopathic Apis Mellifica in 30C potency. It comes in a small tube, which you dissolve a few pellets in your mouth immediately after a sting. Homeopathic medicine is based on "like-cures-like" and this remedy is made of a bee. The common symptoms is addresses is extreme reaction to bee stings, and all the swelling internally and externally associated with it. Answered by Han Duran 1 year ago.
