The second week it started clearing out and smoothing up my texture. Now in my third week im having anoher initial breakout. I use a doxy 100 mg pill in the morn. Also cleanse my face with cetaphil cleanser then apply my finacea in the morn. If i go outside i use a neutrogena oil free 85 spf. then i shower at night and apply retin-a followed by another doxy pill. So what do you all think about this. Every dermatologist has his/her own regimen. Personally, this is not typical of the one that I use, but it seems to be working for you. You should just sit tight, as the time to really expect to see legitimate clearing is at about the six week mark. Answered by Doreatha Julien 6 months ago.

Everytime i try to put face moisturizer on it, it burns and kind of hurts.. i don't know if this is normal.. but it doesn't seem like it.. i know with past medication that I've used such as "Retin-a".. that ur skins supposed to peel and be all dry.. but this is different lol is this normal or should i stop taking the clindoxyl gel?.. i used to put on a gel that was similar to this called Benza Clin.. like 2 years ago which was also clindamycin.. but i stopped that after a week because i felt like i was having an allergic reaction then too.. is there anything i can do to make this ugly dry rash thing to go away? or is this completely normal and should i continue putting all these medications on and eating the pills still? i feel kinda bad if i just stop using it hahah.. i did spend $300 on these 3 things.. lol. but yeah, any advice? You are taking too many products, its tearing up your face. Keep the doxycycline or the pill that your dermatologists prescribed, and ditch everything else. Make sure you drink lots of water, because that pill also is harmful if you dont drink a lot of water. Use CETAPHIL, its not over the counter, you can find it almost anywhere, (Walgreens, CVS, Target, Costco) and your face will eventually clear up. Just cause something is stronger doesn't mean that it's better Answered by Myong Maskell 6 months ago.
Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin. Holistic Acne Treatment Guide? Answered by Tamie Goodger 6 months ago.
Eating appropriate is the crucial to fighting off acne. If you eat meals that are really oily, which have very small nutritional worth, and which are really processed or artificial, you are filling your entire body with fats, toxins, and excess sugar. Answered by Un Blasingim 6 months ago.

Answered by Duane Magorina 6 months ago.
According to my notes from my immunology class, Lyme disease is diagnosed by the presence of a very unique rash called an ECM rash and a positive serological test for the antibodies for the bacterium B. burgdorferi (the bacteria that causes Lyme disease) Doctors will diagnose it just by seeing the rash alone. I'm not sure why she is testing you like that but the bacteria that causes Lyme disease looks just like the same bacteria that causes syphilis. The first stage of Lyme disease also causes some hepatitis (swelling of the liver). Later stages of the disease can cause arthritis which will test positive for reagin, the same stuff found in patients with lupus and RA. Hope that helps Answered by Yvette Dever 6 months ago.

I had a z pak, then 6 days of doxycycline, had a rocephin shot then started on cipro and with the doxy for two days and my upper right quadrant hurt so bad I thought I had gallbladder stones. I quit taking meds for two days and I have a penile discharge again. I had self treated with the doxy and Zithromax for presumed chlamydia infection. Muy original symptoms were epiditimitus and whitish grey penile discharge with arthritis in my joint of wrist, ankles, knee and pain in fingers. Swabbed neg after being on antibiotics for two weeks, which was zpak on first day, then started doxy 100 mg twice a day for 6 days and then swabbed for gono and chlamydia, got rocephin shot and started cipro while taking the doxy. The pain in my bowels stopped after I stopped taking the cipro and doxy, but discharge started. Should I seek metrodiazole for the bowel probs and continue the cipro? Answered by Jefferey Laufer 6 months ago.
My first question is how in the world you were able to get those antibiotics if you were "self treated" as you need a prescription to get antibiotics. Regardless of how, you should NEVER take antibiotics that aren't prescribed to you because they can be the wrong kind and encourage antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Don't try to self-treat with antibiotics for your health and everyone else's. With that being said, if you are worried about your discharge or want to keep the bad bacteria back after the antibiotics have killed off much of the good and bad bacteria, I would highly recommend taking a higher dose of a good Probiotic to quickly replenish that good bacteria. I would go for one with 30+ billion viable organisms from several strains. In addition to Probiotics, Caprylic Acid and Grapefruit Seed Extract also help to fight yeast growth if that's what the discharge is from (which isn't unlikely), so those three together are a very good combination to fight it to a point. I'd take this for at least a good month to make sure you replenish the good stuff, but you could go down to a maintenance dose with 3-5 strains and 4-6 billion organisms daily to keep it away. Most of the cases I've heard of that used regimens like this showed an impact within just a few days (where they noticed some benefits) and were often almost completely gone within a month or so, but some more extreme cases took longer. Good luck and I hope I helped! Answered by Cher Kehew 6 months ago.
Is it possible to get rid of acne by avoiding foods with fat?
Asked by Dirk Sohre 6 months ago.
YES, BUT TO SOME EXTENT,, RATHER YOU SHOULD FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE MEDICATION .You can use Erythromycin ointment, and take medicine Doxicycline 200 mg ( that is two tablets of doxy 100 mg at a time) on firstday after food and a 100 mg tablet daily for next four days after food. Avoid latenight activities, clean your face with a moisteriser soap after a day's work, Avoid frequent and excessive makeup, take plenty of green vegetables , fruits/ juice, water. Use sunscreen lotion on face during day time outings. Answered by Kimberely Hutten 6 months ago.
Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet. In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood. Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones. In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do. If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read. Weird Trick Forces Your Body To Eliminate Your Acne Giving You Beautiful Clear Skin In 30-60 Days? Make sure your sound is turned on! Answered by Leonardo Pasko 6 months ago.
No because eating fat has very little to do with acne. If you are a teenager, keep in mind it is hormonal. You are going through puberty. Your body is changing. Unfortunately, it is part of life. Just make sure you keep your face clean by washing it with a gentle soap and warm water 2-3 times a day. Make sure you change your pillow case every 3-4 days so you don't have a build up of oil on that to irritate the acne. If you do get pimples, don't pick at them, instead get a spot treatment like one by Clean and Clear. And drink at least 64 ounces of water. Answered by Antonetta Pallone 6 months ago.

Acne and black heads usually appear on an oily skin or in teenage where body faces many hormonal changes, which reflect on the skin as acne and blackheads. Acnes are the most common skin problem, which affects everybody excepting few lucky people. In severe acne problem they can appear on the back, neck, shoulders and even on the arms. The problem is always not as bad as at the time of puberty in the boys and girls. In normal course people do get one or two acne at a time though when there is a hormonal imbalance, people get acne all over their face and get dirty deep marks. Acne problem is difficult to tackle when they start spreading all over the body. Then you need to seek a medical help with a professional dermatologist. Black heads appear on the skin when sebum gets stored in the pores of our skin and collect dirt, which makes the pores hard. People who don't do proper cleaning of the face too get ugly black heads on their skin which get deep set with time and ignorance. The tip of the pore appears black so they are called black heads. T-zone skin is more prone to get black heads as they usually appear on the nose and chin. By using some home made recipes and following a daily skin care regime one can surely prevent the problem of acne and black heads and can get a beautiful blemish free skin. The keyword for a healthy glowing skin is drinking plenty of water. Water detoxifies the skin and keeps acne and black heads at bay. Wash your face on and off with good medicated soap and lukewarm water so that no dirt and impurities are left on the skin. For blackheads, soak rice in the water in the night. Grind them and make a paste in the morning. Add a pinch of turmeric to it. Apply this paste on the face and scrub off when a little dries. It removes the black and white heads from the skin. Soak almonds in the water overnight. Peel them off in the morning and make a paste. Add honey to this paste and apply on the face. Scrub it off when dry or after 20 minutes. It removes the black heads and adds glow to the skin. Rubbing a lemon peel on the black heads too removes them and clears the skin. For better results take steam on the skin where you have black heads and then apply these scrubbers. It makes the pores loose so that the dirt comes up on the skin surface and it makes easy for the black head to come out of the skin. Soak fenugreek seeds in water for 4 hours. Make a paste of it and add a half lemon juice to it. Apply it on the face and scrub it off when dries. It helps in removing the black heads. Home made recipes for acne-some homemade packs are really helpful in preventing the acne and reducing their marks from the skin. Calamine powder is one of the best things to reduce the acne and excess oil from the skin. Take two spoonful of calamine powder and make a paste of it with rose water. Apply it on all over your face and neck. It clears the skin and reduces the marks from it. Soak orange peel in milk for at least 5 hours. Make a thick paste of it and add some camphor powder in it. Apply it on the face and rinse off with lukewarm water when dries. It prevents from getting acne and clears the complexion. You can dry orange peels in sun and then can make a powder of it. Make a paste with rose water and rinse off when dries. Sandalwood powder is extremely good in healing acne prone skin. Make a paste of it with rose water and apply on face and neck. Wash off when dries. It also makes the complexion clear and smooth. Neem leaves have extremely good healing agents for acne prone skin. You can boil neem leaves in water and can use this water to splash on the skin several times a day to reduce the acne and their marks. You can add this boiled neem water to the calamine powder or sandal wood powder to make a paste. Soak neem leaves in hot water till the leaves become soft. Now make a paste of these leaves in the same water and apply on the acne. You can leave it even overnight on the skin. It heals the acne and the scar, which comes after acne is not that dark. Skin, which comes out from the neem tree stem, is very useful in healing the acne. You can rub it on a thick surface in little water where it gives a brown paste in result. This paste if applied on the acne heals it much faster than many other established acne treating creams. Strawberry leaves if placed on the acne helps in healing the acne.
