Has anyone ever used dovonex cream for psorasis?
Just curious how fast has it worked and if not is really affective? Asked by Stacia Dorso 2 years ago.

Dovonex has side effects much worse than psoriasis (google it). For me personally the herbal anti-psoriasis cream and spray from Champori.com works better and faster than anything else, AND it is natural. Best, Bernadette Answered by Karrie Fidler 2 years ago.

Never used and HAD this stuff but now gone and has been for years with use of bleach and skin so soft from Avon would soak in tub of hot water with bleach and remove the white flakes and sit till water got cold then dry off and apply skin so soft heavy and in a short time it was gone and none has come back this has been at least 25 years now yea!!!! I would just try thinning it with water. If this doesnt work, call your dermatologist or family doctor( who ever prescribed the Dovonex for you) and ask if they will call in a prescription of the kind for the scalp. Answered by Galina Wegley 2 years ago.

I use Dovonex for my psoriasis is there anything better to treat it?
I know there's no cure. just looking for a better option if any. Asked by Eugene Bowey 2 years ago.

i got desperate and started using one of the biologics that you inject once a week. it worked and i cleared 100 percent and i was a mess. but i get colds easily now. it suppresses your immune system. before that i used to put coal tar solution and go in the sun, but not enought to turn red. that always cleared me up best until it got really bad in my 40s. the injections aren't bad though, i thought i would die before giving myself an injection but it's surprising what you can learn to do. Answered by Valene Herpich 2 years ago.

I had a problem with psoriasis on my head, this is going to sound weird but i actually tried my dogs psoriasis shampoo. it is called oxy med anti itch with coconut oil. it smells good and worked great. no more psoriasis. i figured hell if it works on my dog, (maine and tail started out as a horse shampoo) Answered by Lemuel Eschenburg 2 years ago.

Psoriasis prescription expired... should I still use it?
I have psoriasis, and at the moment I have no insurance and no ability to renew my prescription. I found an old tube of Dovonex ointment, but expired 4/2003. Would it be ok for me to still use it? Please help... professional advise is much needed. Thanks. Asked by Frances Haak 2 years ago.

Hello there. Dovonex should not be used even if it is un-expired: the side effects are too nasty to contemplate. Instead, I suggest that you look into a natural remedy for psoriasis by Champori: it is a company in Colorado and they make the best cream and spray for psoriasis: my patches cleared in just few weeks and I haven't had a flare up for over a year now! Try it: if it doesn't work for you - they have money back guarantee so it's free. Best, Bernadette Answered by Rena Heimlicher 2 years ago.

it wont hurt u,its worth a try. I have psoriasis too, and when i was like younger my grandmother would give me dovonex, when it was wayyy past the exp date, and it got rid of it. Good Luck Answered by Raisa Quattrini 2 years ago.

I have guttate psoriasis on my arms and on my body with plaques on my elbows and a large patch between my breasts. Last week I saw the doctor who prescribed me Dovonex (Calcipotriol) which I have been using for the past week. The thing is, I think it might be making it worse. There are more patches than their were before and they are more red than they were before however they are less scaly. Also the patch between my breasts has doubled in size however it is not itchy anymore.I was just wondering if that was part of the process of healing or if it was actually making it worse and if I should go back to the doctors. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Answered by Hyo Cariker 2 years ago.

My mother has psoriasis and i don't know what type it is but she has it everywhere. Except down there in the Area VAJJ. she been using a medication w/ syptoms like yours. And most of her went away but after a long period of time like years. I think the patch between ur boobs sry Breast is something else because Answered by Jess Jennelle 2 years ago.

I used Dovonex for years with absolutely no side effects. If it is getting worse, you need to call the doctor. Ask to talk to a nurse, tell her your story. If she/he thinks you need to go back to see the dr. again, she/he'll tell you. Answered by Lise Melander 2 years ago.
