What does generic Adderall contain?
Is it exactly the same as amphetamine Sulfate? I swear it's not. Amphetamine sulfate is much smoother and causes less anxiety. Asked by Margert Cantu 1 month ago.

Adderall is called "mixed amphetamine salts." It contains four different preparations of amphetamine each is 25% of the total amount: dextroamphetamine saccharate, amphetamine aspartate monohydrate, dextroamphetamine sulfate, and amphetamine sulfate. I really doubt you had amphetamine sulfate because aside from the small amount in Adderall it is not used and would cause more anxiety. HOWEVER dextroamphetamine sulfate is used and that is probably what you are talking about. The usage of 'amphetamine' is very odd since dextroamphetamine is what people are really talking about when they say amphetamine. So you most likely had Dexedrine which is only dextroamphetamine sulfate and Dexedrine is typically described as "smoother." Answered by Francoise Kuza 1 month ago.

How long does a normal Adderall 70mg last?
Asked by Elwanda Migliaccio 1 month ago.

Specifically, Adderall XR is composed of the following proportions of active ingredients: 1/4 dextroamphetamine saccharate 1/4 dextroamphetamine sulfate 1/4 (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) aspartate monohydrate 1/4 (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) sulfate These four salts are metabolized at different rates and possess diverse half lives, therefore resulting in a less dramatic onset and termination of therapeutic action; as compared to single-salt amphetamine preparations. The average elimination half-life in adults for dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine is 10 hours and 13 hours respectively. Breakdown rates are affected by many factors including urinary and stomach pH, weight, gender, other medications being taken, and age. Alkaline increases bioavailability and acidic foods cause the drug to be excreted sooner. Urinary and stomach pH levels can have the strongest effect on DL-amphetamine excretion and absorption. Co-administration of acidic substances (e.g. citric acid) causes an accelerated excretion of DL-amphetamine while co-administration of alkaline agents (e.g. antacids) causes a marked incre Answered by Aaron Miquelon 1 month ago.

How long does adderall stay in the body?
Asked by Alecia Whitis 1 month ago.

Specifically, Adderall XR is composed of the following proportions of active ingredients[8]: 1/4 dextroamphetamine saccharate 1/4 dextroamphetamine sulfate 1/4 (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) aspartate monohydrate 1/4 (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) sulfate These four salts are metabolized at different rates and possess diverse half lives, therefore resulting in a less dramatic onset and termination of therapeutic action, as compared to single-salt amphetamine preparations.[6] The average elimination half-life in adults for dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine is 10 hours and 13 hours respectively. Breakdown rates are affected by many factors including urinary and stomach pH, weight, gender, other medications being taken, and age. Alkalinity increases bioavailability and acidity causes the drug to be excreted sooner. Manufacturers claim that the mixture of salts in Adderall XR makes its effects smoother (that is, makes softer highs and lows); however, there is a lack of empirical evidence for this claim Answered by Yi Vartanyan 1 month ago.

M. Amphet Salts? Help please?
i was feeling lazy today so my dad gave me some pill that said M. Amphet Salts, and said it was a multivitamin. Is it really? Ive heard it could be amphetamine which is dangerous. Is it really? I took one, are there any fatal side effects? Please help Asked by Chung Iriarte 1 month ago.

Yes. You probably took Adderall. Adderall is a mixture of four amphetamine salts: * 1/4 dextroamphetamine saccharate * 1/4 dextroamphetamine sulfate * 1/4 (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) aspartate monohydrate * 1/4 (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) sulfate Up to three 30mg pills is "safe", although a doctor would only recommend one dose every 6-8 hours. Being that you only took one pill, and the highest dose manufactured is 30 mgs, I would assume you will be fine. Unless you have pre-existing heart problems. Even then, the chances of fatal overdose are slim. Answered by Necole Menso 1 month ago.

Adderall contain Amphetamines which is very similar to Methamphetamine, which is Meth. Amphetamines are generally a lot more safer then Meth but, still not safe. Just don't do adderall daily because it is addictive. Answered by Yoko Ceretti 1 month ago.

It can be extremely addictive, and it is fatal if you overdose on it. Don't worry though, one pill is completely harmless. Just as long as you don't do it again. And it will take away your appetite and sleep. You might want to ask your dad what the hell he's doing with prescription drugs for ADHD though (they're mostly used for treating kids, I doubt he has it) Answered by Debrah Wineman 1 month ago.

Best Generic Adderall Alternative.. Answered by Georgann Kahahane 1 month ago.

Adderall is a mixture of the chemicals Dextramphetamine and Amphetamine, and its generic name is Dextramphetamine-Amphetamine, just like the chemical name. It is available as a generic at Walmart but I'm unsure of the price. Most generic prescriptions at Walmart are never more than $10, so it really isn't too expensive. Why is Adderall XR more effective than the generic? what are the differences in the ingredients and release?
Asked by Casimira Cowgill 1 month ago.

Adderall XR contains a mixture of four different amphetamine salts: dextroamphetamine saccharate; dextroamphetamine sulfate; (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) aspartate monohydrate; (racemic dextro/levo-amphetamine) sulfate. They are metabolized at different rates; therefore the extended-release form of the medication acts longer in the system and has a milder action as compared to single-salt amphetamine preparations. First off, Adderall XR is a different drug than Vyvanse. Adderall XR is a mixed salt amphetamine drug with the following salts: Dextroamphetamine Sulphate, Dextroamphetamine Saccharate, Amphetamine Aspartate Monohydrate and Amphetamine Sulphate. Vyvanse is lisdexamfetamine dimesylate Capsules. And Adderall XR is a capsule and should NOT be crushed. I would check with your pharmacist, but I'm pretty sure that its ok to take them as long as your doctor prescribed them and the pharmacist filling them found no interactions. The Adderall XR doesn't release half of the medication right away. It is slowly released over the course of the day. The Adderall immediate release tablets are just that, releasing the drug right away. Answered by Carol Mays 1 month ago.

your just stupid. vyvanse is the same thing as adderall. Answered by Carmelina Twombly 1 month ago.

How long does Adderal stay in your system?
Asked by Arnold Desatnik 1 month ago.

Adderal XR is actually a mixture of 4 amphetamine compounds in equal proportions- 1) dextroamphetamine saccharate 2) dextroamphetamine sulfate 3) amphetamine aspartate monohydrate 4) amphetamine sulfate Each of these compounds have different half-lives. - d-amphetamine = ~10 hours in adults, ~11 in adolescents, ~9 in children - l-amphetamine = ~13 hours in adults, ~13-14 in adolescents, ~11 in children Answered by Lovie Ruedas 1 month ago.

A doctor will test you and give you a perscription. My son takes Concerta (ADHD) and it costs about $160 a month. Answered by Kyong Brodhag 1 month ago.

if your a minor and depending on where you life you may have to take test through the school board, most of the time you just have to be evaluated by doctor and prescribed if he feels that you will benefeit from it . cost depends on dose and if you get generic , s0 40 to 140 is my best guess/estimate Answered by Mayme Stravinski 1 month ago.

Yes. You need the accurate diagnosis of adhd, which depends on the results of more than one test. Adderall is actually methamphetamine, has the potential to create your dependency on the drug, and is now being replaced as the drug that created a sort of paradoxical effect on the synaptic responses in our brain. The latest drug being utilized at this time is a non amphetamine/ Answered by Van Acencio 1 month ago.

Adderall is NOT methamphetamine! It is not an amphetamine of any type. It is a stimulant, and potent one at that. Most doctors will not prescribe this drug if you are not ADD or ADHD. I was Ritalin for chronic fatigue and severe depression. I think that it is unusual and rare to get these drugs for those reasons. Answered by Hoyt Callar 1 month ago.

It all depends what kind of pharmacy plan you have. Answered by Roma Endler 1 month ago.
