Answered questions

Can I get my birth control prescrition at walmart for only $4 a month or $10 for 3 months?
I'm looking over the list of prescriptions they sell for only $4 and i saw ( estradiol) which is in my birth control, but mine is (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol) so i wonder if i could take the one on the list and it will still be the same as my original? Asked by Jamey Mahmoud 6 months ago.

No it won't be the same. The one you are taking is a combination hormone pill- desogestrel and ethinyl the one you are considering is a minipill with only 1 hormone- estradiol. It's not the same as a full pill has a higher failure rate. A combo pill has a 1% failure rate and a minipill has a 5% failure rate. It doesn't stop ovulation like a combo pill but instead makes it so that an egg can't implant in your uterus. Answered by Richard Gonce 6 months ago.

Is Desogen a Progestin only oral contraceptive?
BTW....I checked my pack and it says desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol...I need English... Asked by Georgie Crimin 6 months ago.

I've been prescribed Solia (Generic for Desogen) and I was doing some reading and noticed that Progestin only pills just make it difficult for pregnancy to occur and have a .5% fail rate, whereas the combination pills of estrogen and progestin prevent ovulation and make it difficult for pregnancy to occur and have a .1% fail rate. I can't a clear cut answer as to whether Desogen is a progestin only or a combination pill. Answered by Roxanne Stifflemire 6 months ago.

Desogestrel = Progestin (it contains 0.15 mg) ethinyl estradiol = Estrogen (conatins 30 Ug) Currently on my 7th pack of desogen and Loving it Answered by Genaro Robblee 6 months ago.

Read the label on your BCP box. You should be able to fine the contents. EDIT: Oh okay, well then that means its a combination pill. :) Answered by Kayce Allder 6 months ago.

Sore/firm/enlarged breasts is one of the most common side effects of that drug. Still, it would be a good idea to talk to your doctor. Answered by Ozie Rafuse 6 months ago.

You shouldn't be worried, sore and tender breasts is a well known side effect of the medication that you are taking. Most of the time sore and tender breasts is no big deal, but if the pain becomes excruciating, then you need to talk to your gynecologist. You might need to go on a different type of birth control, if the birth control method that you are currently using has undesirable side effects for you. Answered by Ted Michelli 6 months ago.

well, chances are if you have been using protection and are on the pill..it is just your body adjusting to the synthetic hormones in the pill. It can take a few months for the body to adjust and sore breasts/hot to touch breasts are actually a common side affect of the pill. I wouldn't worry at this moment in time any way. Birth Control and Breast Size Increase?
Ya they hurt ALLLL THE TIME grrr like right now they do and I'm just laying down on the computer. Do you think that means they'll grow even more? Asked by Leonie Lundquist 6 months ago.

So I've been on birth control pills (ortho-cept) for about 2 and a half weeks now and I've already seen a difference in my size (from a small be to a fuller b.) My breasts are constantly sore. For how long will they keep growing and be sore? (estimation) Also, what were your experiences with Ortho-cept? Thanks so much Answered by Julio Bayot 6 months ago.

Hi, I wanted to tell you about my experience with the CurvyBust cream. I'm 24 years old and I've spent pretty much my whole life wishing I had slightly larger breasts. I'm normally a size A, I'd love to be a size B, especially when I wear certain kinds of low cut tops. I have a good figure, and I like what I have, but every now and then I would like a little bit more. Even if I had the money, (which I don't because I am a college student with loans to pay off), I would never consider going under the knife just to go up 1 cup size. So that's been my dilemma. I found out about curvybust cream when I was flipping through (Yahoo Answers). To be honest with you, I'm not the type of girl who would consider spending money on a cream that promises to increase breast size. It just seems like an impossible thing to claim. But there were three reasons that I decided to go for it: 1) I contacted them via their website because I had a question about the cream being OK for sensitive skin (which it is, because it is made of natural botanical ingredients.) 2) I was really impressed by their customer service and willingness to explain everything to me. 3) They offered me a free 12 day supply with no obligation, (I just had to pay the shipping costs- I wasn't too thrilled with that but it was still worth it to get the free product). Well, it's actually working! There is a noticeable difference in the size of my breasts! It's only been 10 days, and they say that the true final results won't appear until about the 4-6 month time frame, but based on what I can see, (and what my boyfriend can feel) there's definitely a difference. My breasts are standing out more, and they are fuller and rounder. Sometimes I am able to go out without a bra, now I can't. And I have a feeling that I might have to actually buy new bras if the growth continues. I'm looking forward to seeing how the next month goes. There might actually be a size B in my future! Woohoo! My boobs increased an entire cup size when i was on birth control! Some women just react strongly to the hormones in birth control, and like me, you happen to be one of them! Answered by Tish Drafts 6 months ago.

mine got bigger too! i didnt know that was supposed to happen, but it has. mine were only sore for a little bit like a few days, and it wasnt all the time really either. Answered by Tabetha Cataldi 6 months ago.

What's the best brand of birth control pills?
I want a birth control pill that will help with acne but not make me gain a lot of weight or lose sex drive or anything. Asked by Yaeko Scoles 6 months ago.

I'm on Velivet (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol) and I love it. It got rid of pretty much all of my acne, I have a great sex drive (maybe even better than when I wasn't taking the pill) and I haven't gained weight. Everybody responds differently to their pills, but Velivet worked for me. Answered by Keenan Panarello 6 months ago.

This is one of the most common side effects of every birth control, other than weight gain and light spotting, etc. Every birth control has sore boob side effects and I experience it myself. I'm on birth control as well. Not the same one but mine causes sore boobs too. So don't worry at all, you'll be just fine. Also, sometimes girls get sore boobs soon before their period comes. It's also a period side effect. Not EVERY time, but sometimes. It's more of a birth control side effect though, more than anything. Nothing to worry about :) Answered by Jeane Suit 6 months ago.
