So I've been on Dept-Provera since about June. I haven't missed an injection date at all, but last month I got my wisdom teeth taken out. When I got the surgery, they put me on anti-biotics, and the information on the medication packet said that it will affect my birth control. I've been very good on remembering that. About a week and a half ago, I got my period ( or what I thought was my depo kicking back in), and I still have my period. Last night my boyfriend and I had an accident. I'm wondering if I should take Plan B or if my depo will do the job fine by itself. My next injection date is in 5 days. Answered by Kirby Antonetti 1 year ago.
The drug insert for Depo Provera only mentions one medication lessening its effectiveness. This medication is Cytadren and is for cancer. Some antibiotics increase the enzymes that break down Estrogen and reduce the number of re-circulating estrogens in the body. That is why you are told to use a back up method with birth control pills which contain estrogen. Depo Provera does not contain estrogen. If you are still concerned, I would call the dr that gave you the antibiotics and ask him/her if the antibiotic that was given to you interferes with your specific birth control. Im wondering what the benefits would be if someone who has normal testosterone used androgel for I guess 4 to 6 weeks while also using an anti estrogen such as Tamoxifen? Im 60 pounds over weight, have good muscle (under all the fat) but I have no energy levels. After work I simply come home and do nothing, my job drains me of energy very easily. I have to use a mixture of JetFuel and Yohimbe just to have energy through out my work day. So what are the benefits of Androgel and Tamoxifen for someone in my condition, I am 24 by the way, and also have Gynecomastia. I figure those that know about Androgel and Tamoxifen will know about the Gynecomastia. Thanks for any help and advice, and please dont tell me not to mess with my hormones. Basically I am seeking advice from those who have used it or are using it. Thanks again. Answered by Wesley Arballo 1 year ago.
Men using AndroGel must be careful to prevent contact between gel-covered areas and other people's skin. The drug can be transferred by skin-to-skin contact and can have harmful effects on women, especially pregnant women and their unborn babies. Women who touch AndroGel should wash with soap and water as soon as possible. Female partners of men who use AndroGel should contact a physician if they develop signs that the hormone is being transferred, such as acne, increased body hair, or other male sexual characteristics. Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue using topical AndroGel. More common side effects may include: Acne, application site reaction, breast enlargement, emotional instability, headache, high blood pressure, prostate disorder . It sounds like you are describing depression and don't know it. Depression will sap you of energy. You would gain weight, which of course you have. You need to treat the D. Answered by Ignacia Depina 1 year ago.

What are the types of steroids?
What are the different types of steroids and their effects
Asked by Monty Pellegren 1 year ago.
HEY BROTHER HERE COMES YOUR LIST OF STEROIDS & THEIR EFFECTS Anadrol is one type of steroid that happens to be recognized as very effective. It is claimed to be the strongest oral steroid that's available in the global market. Normally, it is used by body builders who want instant building of muscles and this is for the contest purposes. It is however a good idea to go thru the instruction and use it as specified in the instructions to avoid any likely effects since it has been said to posses the most perilous and enduring side-effects. Anavar is also in the domain of steroids. It is a mild oral steroid that's continually used for muscle and strength gain. With respect to muscles, it helps to toughen them and so it is typically preferred by ladies whose muscle tissue is very soft. Unlike any other steroid types, the Anavar type is less costly and has very nominal side-effects. Andriol steroid falls in the same category of body-building steroids. It is described as a Safe oral steroid that comes in capsules form. It contains the testosterone form and this is why it is mostly preferred by many bodybuilders for strength and muscle development. Arimidex is a solution form of anti-estrogen. It is one of the steroids that comes in a solution form and used typically for solving gynocomastia issues. it is not very common and used irregularly in body building since these conditions happen in rare scenarios. Clenbuterol is a body/muscle/iron pumping steroid that's common to body-builders. It is generally engaging to users because of its thermogenic effects and the gentle anabolic properties. It thus has fewer side effects and has a lesser likelihood of addiction. Clomid is also on the body building steroids class. It is preferred due to the role it plays in offering twin effect in the act of blocking out a few side-effects of estrogen. It also has a robust role of requiring the increase of endogenous testosterone production. Cytadren is basically used by body-builders as an inhibitor of aromatase and also the restoration of HTPA immediately after any steroid cycle. Nevertheless, it is not common and generally very expensive because of the dual role it plays. Cytomel is on the class of fat burners in the body building field. It is meant to increase the metabolism rate of an individual after intake when exercising, therefore working out each body part and burning gigantic masses of fat in a very brief time. It acts as a stimulator of the normal body metabolism. EPO is an unusual sort of steroid. It sometimes comes in kind of injections and described as a protein hormone, which works on the bone marrow and helps to fuel the production of red blood cells. I AM SURE THAT THIS MUCH CAN SERVE THE PURPOSE Answered by Dennis Spalinger 1 year ago.

ive been really sick last night i actually threw up but ive been having constant headaches nausea lower back pains a decrease in sex drive mood swings and fatigue. recently ive had a fluttering feeling in my lower abdomen area that comes and goes throughout the day. today i had diarrhea and was really tired. im on the shot but im also taking ampitriptyline for my headaches also b12 supplement and iron pills for my anemia. could i be pregnant or is it just the shot mixed with my anemia? ive read that prescription and non prescription medicines may interfere with the effectiveness of the shot. some1 help plz Answered by Waneta Berberich 1 year ago.
Just to be sure take a pregnancy test. No known medications negate the depo shot. The following medicines might reduce the effectiveness of progestins(depo) for contraception: * Aminoglutethimide (e.g., Cytadren) * Carbamazepine (e.g., Tegretol) * Phenobarbital * Phenytoin (e.g., Dilantin) * Rifabutin (e.g., Mycobutin) * Rifampin (e.g., Rifadin) Sometimes your doctor may use these medicines with progestins for contraception but will give you special directions to follow to make sure your progestin is working properly. Use a second method of birth control while using these medicines that reduce the effectiveness of progestins for contraception. Answered by Darren Sigrist 1 year ago.
This is pretty normal for birth control...I was in your same situation and tried everything to restore it. I switched pills a couple times and gave up, the libido was just not coming back. I then found a natural herbal enhancer that is supposed to increase your sex drive and a couple other things. It's called Hersolution gel, read up about it at herenhancement .com where I saved on it at the time. However it's like an instant libido rush and as I kept using it my sex drive was through the roof and continues to be. The sensation blast is great too, I can't tell you how many times I've had multiple orgasms when before I couldn't even get a single one. Theres also capsules you can take that I've heard are better but I don't like swallowing many pills throughout the day. I was skeptical at first but the return policy was so great that the company was offer. From what I remember you had to try it out for a couple months but then you had time afterwards to return it for a full money back if it didn't work. I didn't have that problem as you can see. Well good luck and I hope this helps. Answered by Kaley Volz 1 year ago.

Whenever I got my injections they would give me the insert that came with the injection. It only mentions one medicine that may cause Depo to be less effective. This med is called Cytadren and apparently is for cancer. Answered by Jame Fons 1 year ago.
