My allergies are really bad and one isn't strong enough... I'm not sure why, I've been taking them during allergy season for like, the past 5 years with no problem. It has been lasting half way through the day and then my allergies start to pick up again. Would I be able to take one every 12 hours or is that not safe? I was thinking about taking the 12 Hour ones, but I assume those are not as strong? I am trying to avoid a prescription here... Answered by Doreatha Ogiba 1 year ago.

How should I take Claritin-D 24 Hour (loratadine and pseudoephedrine)? Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Cold or allergy medicine is usually taken only for a short time until your symptoms clear up. Do not give this medication to a child younger than 4 years old. Always ask a doctor before giving a cough or cold medicine to a child. Death can occur from the misuse of cough and cold medicines in very young children. Do not crush, chew, or break an extended-release tablet. Swallow it whole. Breaking the pill may cause too much of the drug to be released at one time. Talk with your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment, or if you have a fever with a headache, cough, or skin rash. If you need to have surgery, tell the surgeon ahead of time if you have taken a cold or allergy medicine within the past few days. This medication can cause unusual results with allergy skin tests. Tell any doctor who treats you that you are taking an antihistamine. *If you take the 12 hour ones, you might be able to take them when your worse symptoms are occuring. Why avoid a prescription? Read on the box of the medicine you took first. Like if you took Claritin first, read the box, if it says take every four to six hours, then wait at least four hours before you take the second medicine so it's out of your system, just to make sure. Hope this helps. Answered by Cordelia Gay 1 year ago.

Go to eBay and search for a product called Skin Doctor which will instantly help sunburn. Then, do not take any more drugs... And, here is some more free advice: RIGHTS EQUAL RESPONSIBILITIES or "How to Avoid the Coming Health Care Crisis" What everyone should know about the body we inhabit First we will to operate under the understanding that everything is made up of two parts and the individual that is "you" or "I" or "us" is no exception. We are, if you reduce us to the lowest common denominator, Spirit contained within Matter. Our Spirit basically is the unique individual that is us---the "I". The "I" is our identity, our personality, the sum total of our experiences, the character, the Soul, the consciousness, that individual being that is "YOU". The unique identity that is YOU lives within the confines of the physical body---Matter. Matter is defined by scientists as anything and everything that has weight or mass, occupies "space", and cannot be destroyed, only changed in form. It encompasses all Form. Spirit has no form. Matter is governed by certain physical laws---the "Laws of Physics". Spirit has the mission to occupy Matter in order to learn to control matter because Spirit alone cannot create, it needs to command matter to obey and the action is commenced. In this discourse, we are going to be concerned with the material aspect of our bodies and a simple explanation of how they work. The Digestive System is made, in it's simplest version, of two parts: the stomach, or small intestine and the colon, or large intestine. The stomach's job is to break down the foods and send the nutrients to the cells through the Circulatory System---the bloodstream. The blood takes the food to the cells. If the cells get the correct combination of fuels they will reproduce healthy new cells. If they get fuel which is deficient in nutrients, they will reproduce anyway but produce weak or deficient cells. The colon, or large intestine, serves two functions. First, it takes any nutrients that were missed by the stomach. The second job of the colon is to serve as the duct for the lymph system. The Lymph system basically takes the garbage out. If you have a fire in the fireplace, there are ashes left over. When the cells eat, reproduce and die there are also 'ash' left over which are carried by the lymph system to the colon and excreted as bodily waste. Due to the oftentimes poor quality of the food we eat, and as we age, the tubes that are our digestive system will build up intestinal plague or 'corrosion' as an old water pipe will build up mineral corrosion inside. This plague causes the lymph system to become restricted or blocked. When these blockages happen, the lymph cannot drain properly and begins to back up. The blood cannot rid itself of the toxins through the lymph system so it can only rely upon the two main organs of elimination: the liver and kidneys. The kidneys are mostly responsible for eliminating liquid waste and the liver handles the more solid stuff. If the poisons and toxins are too many, they take them into themselves and eventually the toxins have no other place to go, so they remain in the bloodstream, building up inside the vascular system. WE ARE MADE UP OF TRILLIONS OF CELLS. Take an egg from the refrigerator and look it over. That is a cell. The shell is the cell wall. The white is the protoplasm, the yoke is the nucleus of each cell. These cells gather together in the human body to do specialized work and are called Organs. The cells function for a short period of time, reproduce and die. When they do their work and when they reproduce, they need certain chemicals, vitamins, minerals, etc. to do that. Systems If we look at our bodies as our 'vehicle' that transports each of us, as a thinking unit, about the earth for a number of years, we can maybe more easily understand it to an automobile---another "vehicle". Both are composed of a number of overlapping systems. The car has it's suspension system, the electrical system the fuel system, etc. To understand how the headlights work we would look into the electrical system and certainly not the fuel system or the suspension system. Our bodies' systems function together for a smooth ride. Let's stay out of the ditch... Answered by Kathern Risso 1 year ago.

Can you take claritin d 24 hours with tylenol?
I have a horrible pain in the back of my head that hurts to touch and hurts even more when i tilt my head to the side. I'm not sure what this is, but i do have congestion in my nose. Can i take tylenol even though i took claritin d (24 hours) earlier? Asked by Mila Welschmeyer 1 year ago.

Go ahead, it's OK to take them together. There is no interaction between the two that I am aware of. There is no Tylenol in Claritin D, just an antihistamine and decongestant. Answered by Anneliese Bennette 1 year ago.

If you're talking about one or two drinks it shouldn't be a problem. If you're talking about getting crazy drunk then that might be a problem. Call your local pharmacist and ask them for sure, but I've never heard of anything bad happening to anyone who drank after taking Claritin D. Answered by Marlys Keleher 1 year ago.

Claritin D And Alcohol Answered by Gladis Pele 1 year ago.

I'm not a doctor, but I have allergies. The "D" part in claritin is for decongestant, and that ingredient is Pseudoephedrine (PSE) aka Sudafed. PSE and alcohol taken independently have mood-altering effects. Taking them together could give you effects much greater than what you're used to taking them independently. It sounds like you've never combined them before, so I think it would probably mess you up. Another option (what I do) would be to buy separate claritin and PSE. I take the Claritin daily and PSE as needed. Happy mothers day/ anniversary. Answered by Lamonica Conradi 1 year ago.

I wouldn't chance it. Maybe you could skip your Claritin for 24 hours. Answered by Ellamae Thain 1 year ago.

I've also been taking that same medicine for my allergies. I don't personally think it would harm you just based on the dosage. I hope you don't mean that it was the medicine that made you vomit though. I don't have any problems like that with it when I take it. I wouldn't take it if you think it made you vomit. Answered by Ian Villaneva 1 year ago.

I vomited 20-30 minutes after taking claritin D 24 hour... should i take another? since it is time release?
Asked by Hai Philbrook 1 year ago.

don't take another one. There's a phone number (1-800 number) on the side of the bottle, call them and tell them that you had that adverse reaction after you intake claritin D. They will tell you what you need to do next. Hope this helps. Answered by Brain Vahey 1 year ago.

You had nothing of sustenance to eat before taking the antibiotic - that's why you vomited. You only have liquid and medication in your stomach, and nothing to absorb any stomach acid - not good. I'm very surprised that anyone prescribed you two medications that generally require you to eat actual food. On the other hand, maybe the doctor wants you to rid the infection as quickly as possible, and thinks that the benefit of vomiting outweighs your infection. No, never take a medication again after vomiting. There is probably still antibiotic in your system, and taking more of this could upset your stomach even further. My best advice for you is to call your doctor, try to obtain his pager or cell number so you can tell them that you're vomiting and ask if this is normal. If you don't have access to a doctor, call your local pharmacy and explain this situation to them. They may be able to give you a temporary solution until you can get to a doctor. Feel Better! Why is Claritin D 24 Hour making my stomach upset?
I am going to turn 11. I had a sore throat and a few nose bleeds. I have a Sinus Infection. The doctor gave me a prescription, he gave me that and recccomended Claritin D 24 hour. After I take the pill it makes my stomach upset. Why? Asked by Marguerite Bynam 1 year ago.

Your stomach being upset has more to do with your sinus infection than the Claritin Your sinus drains in your throat and into your stomach and causes the problems. If you think it's the Claritin take it with food. While you have this infection don't drink milk, or use spray deodorants or air fresheners, basically any aerosol products (I know milk isn't an are sol product. DUH) These things cause more phylum and more gagging. Answered by Dorla Boemig 1 year ago.

Drink water with some veg oil in it the oil is a natural laxative. Answered by Phillis Wrede 1 year ago.

It's going to take a few days...so increase the fruit in your diet....or drink a mug of hot water with 10 dried apricots...you will go immediately. You can also try drinking a mug of Hot prune juice...or have a handful of chocolate with a cup of coffee. All work well to relieve constipation. Answered by Franklin Barndt 1 year ago.
