Candida Overgrowth Oral Supplements similar to Candex?
Is there any supplements out there similar to Candex? Asked by Aundrea Gloss 1 month ago.

Uva ursi, garlic, oil of oregano. There are more, just google natural antifungals. Answered by Demetra Power 1 month ago.

A systemic candidal infection would no longer exhibit up as the signs you declare to have. A systemic fungal infection is a significant existence-threatening sickness with a view to make you go to the health facility. I've noticeable cases of such and that i tell you, they don't seem to be pretty. Something else is inflicting your signs however it's not "candida overgrowth." Such clinical situation does no longer exist and is purely a advertising ploy to get you to purchase high priced dietary supplements. Answered by Crysta Huitink 1 month ago.

Does the supplement 'Candex' work for candida?
Have you or anyone you know tried Candex? Did it work for you? I have systemic candida (not vaginal yeast infection) and am thinking about trying it. Any personal experience shared would be appreciated. Asked by Genoveva Benasher 1 month ago.

I have tried it, and without the strict diet that the other two answers recommend it won't work. While on the diet you might also take garlic supplements, as that is supposed to boost your immune system and a weakened immune system is one reason for systemic candida. Also, you can buy acidophilus pills, but be sure to buy the refrigerated kind at health food stores and get them home to your refrigerator quickly. Acidophilus dies when it isn't cold, so the unrefrigerated kind aren't going to help at all. Answered by Margy Conrod 1 month ago.

Systemic Candida is confirmed by a stool sample showing the presence of parasites, systemic yeast, and imbalanced bacterial flora. Systemic yeast (Candida albicans) if a fungal organism that is present in everyone's intestinal tract. It is kept under control by your immune system and beneficial intestinal bacteria. The balance is upset when these bacteria are destroyed by antibiotics, stress, illness, or when we develop environmental or food sensitivities. Once the balance is upset, Candida can invade and colonize our body tissues. It commonly appears as a vaginal yeast infection or thrush. But, it can also spread inside the body and become systemic. The basic treatment for systemic candida is a yeast free diet. This is a huge change in your lifestyle. The simplest process I would recommend first is to do a detox and colonix to rid your intestines of any unwanted parasites and to rebalance the beneficial bacteria. I used to get severe hives for years and once I did this process I have not had one single outbreak. The conventional doctors were never able to help me with my hives and in 1 month I was completely cured! Go to www.dr.natura.com and review their website. They have an excellent product to do a detox and colonix. It is very gentle and easy to follow. Read through the information and check out the photos. They have a great customer service department if you have any questions and a great money back guarantee. Even if you don't buy their product go to their site and read the info. I would try the all natural approach especially since systemic candida can remain with you for a very long time. Diet change is good but a detox and colonix would give your body a good head start and possibly resolve your problem. You just need to rebalance your intestines. Good Luck! I just did a web search on Candex - to answer your question about it. It does look like a good product but you do have to take alot and for a long period of time. They also recommend that you do a cleanse and take their Living Flora. I don't think the Candex alone would solve your problem. Dr. Nautra has both the detox and colonix program and I swear they work! It would also be easier to buy everything together as a group instead of wondering which products you might need. Hope this helps! Answered by Guy Patel 1 month ago.

The BEST thing for candida, is to STOP eating grains, breads, cereals, potoatoes and pasta - these all encourage fungal growth, and more scarily, cancer. A good way to kick start this diet is to use magnesium oxide, to detox the body, and then start on the veges, fruit, and minute amounts of lean meat. What you have to remember is your body system likes to function at an alkine level, NOT ACIDIC, which is typical of people with candida. Meats and Dairy, cause acidic body types. GOODLUCK! Candida Yeast Syndrome-truth or myth? Candex vs Threelac?
Do we need these expensive products or can we starve the excess yeast by eating less sugar/sugar producing foods? Asked by Fernando Hoss 1 month ago.

there are many candida diets, and yes you can starve the yeast, it is hard, and irritating, but if you take the herbs and eat the right foods then you are on the right path, try the web search for candida diets Answered by Melia Grout 1 month ago.

No. There are great truths in the great myths. They are the distillation of human experience and observation. And they often were built around actual events, but transformed to make a memorable story. So to believe in the wrappings is delusion - but to see the universal truth within the myth is as near as can be to divine. And we don't need Gods or miracles for that - merely intelligence. I reckon religion merely pirates what is universal, obscures and denigrates reality, provides an excuse for avoidance and mindlessness, and establishes a priestly hierarchy to benefit from the results. I recently, last 2 weeks have a yellow coating on tongue, noticed what looks like broken blood vessel on tongue today. I was on three antibiotics about 6 weeks ago could this be from the antibiotics. I started taking probotics and candex both which should help if I have Candida. After taking probotics and candex I feel worse ? What is going on with me ? We may have mold in our house would this cause these issues HELP. Answered by Crissy Galligher 1 month ago.

Indirectly, yes, it's from the antibiotics... if your tongue is coated and looks yellow, that would be yeast buildup. When you take an antibiotic, it kills off a lot of the good bacteria in your body that helps fight against yeast growth and so if you don't replace that good bacteria, the yeast has a much easier time building up. What I would recommend is definitely keep taking the probiotics and you might even want to opt for a higher potency one for a month or so to get a bigger boost in your system. You can also take some Grapefruit Seed Extract (not Grapeseed Extract) and Caprylic Acid (commonly from Coconut Oil) to help fight the yeast itself. You probably feel worse with the probiotics and candex because your system is detoxing. It's not uncommon when your body is fighting something that extreme (where your tongue is already yellow) and should get better in a few days once those are out of your system. The Grapefruit Seed and Caprylic Acid should help get it out quicker, too. The mold probably didn't cause it, but it probably didn't help it either. Removing the mold is good for overall health and mold growth in the house can put a strain on the immune system, so that's a good thing to remove as soon as you're able to just to make sure everyone has a better chance to stay healthy. Good luck and I hope I helped! Answered by Joelle Pasto 1 month ago.

I'm planning to buy a supplement called 'Candex' which says to control candida. It has an enzyme called 'Cellulase' in it which breaks down fiber, and the cell walls of candida are made of fiber. I read online that enzymes are destroyed by stomach acids, but the only way for 'Cellulase' to work is to pass through the stomach then to the small intestine and the colon where all the bad candida thrive. Can the enzyme 'Cellulase' pass through the stomach acids to break down fiber in the small intestine and colon to kill all the bad candida? Answered by Tony Kammerdiener 1 month ago.

There appear to be more negative data about Cellulase enzymes than positve data. I consulted The Merck Index, and Dictionary of Microbiology and Molecular Biology, and there are no references to degradation of cellulase enzymes by stomach acid(concentration Hydrochloric Acid). If the supplement has an enteric coating(dissolves in the intestines), it may make it through the small and large intestines. Here are some references from Google on cellulase enzymes: search :Antibiotics for Candida(yeast)says cellulase enzymes feed candida and spread the outgrowth within the intestines. A product advertised under the heading, "www.candida-yeast-problems.com, appears available. Antibiotics to fight candida are Diflucan, Nystatin, Sporanox. If you remove candida infection, you may consider taken a daily probiotic which has a coating and does not open until it reaches the intestines. I use a probiotic daily for more than a year to preprogram my gut bacteria to allow daily bowel movements. I use probiotics manufactured and sold at www.theralac.com. Good Luck. What is the best way to clear the heat and damp associated with taking Ginseng?
SkeypDocClearly you are clueless as to what you are talking about! What side effects are you talking about?? Do you even understand what I mean by heat and damp?? When I refer to heat and damp, I am referring to the formation of that on my tong... it's something very minor, which is similar to a yeast... Asked by Lavenia Westrom 1 month ago.

I really like taking Ginseng because it helps me with stress and anxiety. However, I notice after taking it for a week or 2, my body over-heats and i see damp forming on my tong.... I am currently using a product called Candex which is really made to clear mouth thrush that is somewhat effective and has no side effects, however, I would like to ask if there are any professionals here who can recommend a smarter way of dealing with this problem........ Here are some questions I can think of: 1. Is there a type of Ginseng that creates less heat and damp among the 4 types??? (by 4 types I mean American, Siberian, Panax, and Korean) 2. Are there formulas that have other herbs in them specifically for this problem??? 3. What other herbs or formulas can I take with my Ginseng to eliminate this problem If you can answer any of these questions , I appreciate it. Thank you Answered by Rochelle Guy 1 month ago.

Answer to SkyDoc: First of all, there are very good reasons for me to take Ginseng, it's helping my stress, anxiety, sleep patterns, energy, and mood all in a very positive way! 2nd, the side effect I am having is so minor, it's worth taking it even if I don't find a cure for it! 3rd, compared to all western medicine I have tried for the same problems, the side effect of Ginseng is not much at all... 4th Thank you for your suggetion of looking at other ways to deal with my anxiety and stress.. I would like to let you know that I have, and perhaps alot more than many other people. Just to give u an idea, I have spent years in meditation classes to the point that I can now teach it! So please don't think I am going for a quick fix! I have tried many alternative ways such as Yoga, Meditation, and many forms of physical and mental excersices, and they have helped me to the point. Anyways, I just wanted you to understand you are not dealing with a beginner here! Answered by Melda Parmantier 1 month ago.

SkeypDoc Clearly you are clueless as to what you are talking about! What side effects are you talking about?? Do you even understand what I mean by heat and damp?? When I refer to heat and damp, I am referring to the formation of that on my tong... it's something very minor, which is similar to a yeast infection (if I were to educate you on it)....... western medicine on that sort of stuff gives side effect far worst than a little heat and damp formation on the tong... side effects like Insomina, heart palpitations, constipation, dizzyness, just to name a few that makes a person unfunctional... that side effect is not comparable, and please stay away from my post if you don't have the knowledge to offer an educatated answer. My question was for people who are familiar with Chinese herbs and Chinese medicine! Answered by Tamar Foux 1 month ago.

I would like to ask if a professional prescribed the ginseng or did you just purchase it on your own? Depending on your body type you may find that ginseng may not be the appropriate herb for you. Also, American Ginseng boosts Qi and fluids but is cooling. Therefore it may be better for you if heat is your problem. But dampness will still be a problem is your Spleen and Kidneys aren't alright. Siberian Ginseng is not a true ginseng. Panax and Korean may be too "heaty" for you. Also you have to find the source of your stress. If it is poor diet, correct that. If it is poor sleeping habits correct that, but don't just take an herb blindly. If you are after a herb that can enhance your ability to endure stress, maybe cordyceps is better, but again this must be under the supervision of a professional. SkepDoc: yes I understand your point of view, but note that what we have here is side effects due to possible improper use of an herb. When used properly (unfortunately, this is not very common) Chinese herbal formulae have little unpleasant side effects. P.S. - after re-reading your additional details part, I'm leaning towards the Spleen problem. In that case, ginseng alone may relieve symptoms but will not be a "clear-cut" answer. What you need is a plan that tonifies Spleen, tonifies Qi, and nourishes Blood. Perhaps a formula with Astralagus (which has immunomodulating properties, and is in fact considered by the UCLA AIDS Institute as a complementary therapy for HIV. (according to the Nov 15 issue of Journal of Immunology) can help... I have a formula in mind but I don't want to say it. You'd better consult a licensed acupuncturist on this. Answered by Ethelyn Schrumpf 1 month ago.

1- Why are you taking Ginseng in the first place? It's health benefits are dubious when studied in large, properly controlled trials, and it's side effects (especially Asian) include insomnia, headaches, diarrhea, high blood pressure, mania, and cardiovascular and endocrine problems. 2-Ironic that you are getting obvious side effects from a medication you are taking, and are looking for another medication to counter the side effects. Isn't that what Alties accuse doctors of doing? 3- Since there are no good reasons to take ginseng, simply stop it and all your problems will go away. There are other ways of dealing with "stress and anxiety" besides taking a medication...whether it be ginseng or ativan. EDIT: You clearly are suffering from side effects of taking too much Ginseng. If someone was having those sorts of side effects from a prescription med from a doctor, Alties would be all over them about how doctors just try an throw pills at people and poison them with drugs instead of treating the underlying cause. You appear to be suffering from cognitive dissonance with your faith based devotion to a clearly harmful herbal treatment and rejection of common sense advice. How are you any different from someone addicted to Valium for stress and anxiety? Answered by Caprice Szewczyk 1 month ago.

Hi HappilyMarried, First relax and know there is always a cure. With the link you have provided I don't see anything special about it other than clever marketing to feed on other peoples worry. Don't buy anything from them would be my recommendation for you. Second, it's good to know that you have brought change to your diet. I am guessing since you have an infection you are currently avoiding the following foods: Foods to Avoid: 1. Sugar, refined and simple sugars 2. Wheat and rye 3. Milk and cheese 4. Alcoholic and caffeinated beverages 5. Potatoes 6. Honey 7. Mushrooms 8. Vinegars 9. All refined carbs Third, are you consuming lots of leafy green veg's? if not you need to. Infect for the next 7 day's that's all you should do so you can starve the candida (yeast). By only eating leafy greens your body will be alkalinized which will cause the candida to die-off. Also during this period of them I HIGHLY recommend you get yourself the following: 1. Get organic coconut oil which cost about $5-7 dollars from a health food store and take 2 tablespoons of it every morning. It will help give relief from the inflammation caused by yeast (candida), externally and internally to your body. 2. Get apple cider vinegar RAW. I would recommend the one from a company called Bragg's which is about $6 dollars. Take 2 tablespoons of it the moment you wake up from bed and before you go to sleep. It helps encourage the growth of healthy bacteria, which in turn minimizes the overgrowth of candida and balances your body's pH level. 3. Eat lots of leafy Green Veg's every time you are hungry. 4. Get probiotics supplement which cost about 20-30 dollars. Use as directed You will kill or get the yeast (candida) under control if you stick this for a few days and it will expunge the pain and symptoms. I can tell you from personally experience I have done this but remember it requires effort on your part. Answered by Asia Gallier 1 month ago.
