Would not recommend using if expire. Medication could be toxic or not even have the same effectiveness. Answered by Roselyn Wimett 1 month ago.

On the instructions it says for adults and children over 12,. Why is this? I have a couple of times used prep H on my youngest who is 8 but now I am worried if there is an bad effect. Is there any problems with long term use? My 13 year old daughter started with piles around 11 years old from long term constipation and straining and used prep H and Anusol alot for a few weeks back then and has used it quite often since when she bleeds from straining on the toilet or when her piles swell due to constipation and prolonged straining. Is there a more suitable cream? Answered by Janella Kaukola 1 month ago.
im sorry i am not familier with the drug prep H - im not sure what part of the world you are in i cannot find anything about the drug preperation, prep H (drug names change for diffrent parts for the world some drugs are not even available in some parts of the world) but i have found some information on Anusol from a Drug book called MIMS infromation as follows. Dosage and Administration Ointment. Apply sufficient quantity to properly cover perirectal tissues with a protective film of the ointment and the mucosa of the rectal canal to a point about 1 cm above the anal sphincter. Precautions Symptomatic relief should not delay definitive diagnosis or treatment. If irritation develops, these preparations should be discontinued. Adverse Reactions Sensitivity reactions are rare, discontinue medication if suspected. so in a Nut shell anusol appears to be okay for younger people - check with your pharmist or doctor. unlike another medication i found for Haemorrhoids called Rectinol HC Ointment when Children or teenagers who use this medicine should be monitored regularly. Systemic absorption of hydrocortisone following prolonged use or high dosages may affect growth. - defently check with your doctor or chemist to see if the medicine is appropiate. cheers andy Answered by Angelena Mccullum 1 month ago.

We write many prescriptions for Anusol HC suppositories. Also ask for samples of AnalPram. I have several openings next week. Would be more than happy to take care of it for you. I presume you have health insurance... Answered by Lin Olguin 1 month ago.
Get thee to a doctor. In the meantime, sit in the tub for 20 minutes, you may want to put in some warm water. When soaked, take your finger, push those bad boys in and SQUEEZE. Prep H does work. Give it some time. And up your fiber intake. You really can't get too much fiber. Try psycillum. Answered by Viva Cedars 1 month ago.
What is the best treatment for a minor hemorrhoid flare up?
Asked by Olivia Hankins 1 month ago.
There are many over the counter creams, such as Anusol HC, etc. Sometimes a gastroenterologist or proctologist can put a special rubber band around them so they will die from no circulation and drop off after a few days. Answered by Kallie Sigurdson 1 month ago.
The best thing is a warm bath with epsom salts for 15 minutes 3 times a day. (If they are external). Internal - use a product on the market. Eat a lot of fibre and drink lots of water. Answered by Lorelei Dari 1 month ago.

What is the quickest way to get rid of hemmorhoids?
Asked by Karly Septer 1 month ago.
First try something like Anusol-HC suppositories (requires prescription), lots of hot sitz baths, and stay un-constipated. Answered by Shayna Houlahan 1 month ago.
I believe that the only way to get rid of them is to have them removed by a surgeon. However, you can use creams to help "cool" them off, and ingest more fiber in your diet to help control future flare ups. Answered by Cherie Neehouse 1 month ago.

Hemorrhoids can be very painful. Most of us are reluctant to have a doctor check us in this area. There are over the counter medications that can be very helpful for the pain and inflammation that happens when hemorrhoids get irritated. I suggest Anusol HC which is a suppository that contains hydrocortisone (HC) and is very helpful for this problem. Soaking in a bathtub or showering the area with warm water is comforting. Try some ibuprofen for the pain. Preventing constipation is essential. Straining and hard bowel movements are irritating and cause hemorrhoids to form. Eating foods that are high in fiber everyday is important. Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, plenty of water, etc. There are also over the counter medications, like metamucil, miralax, fiber capsules, etc. You have to experiment with these products to see how they work for you. I don't recommend frequent use of laxatives, which would mean you are not eating foods that allow you to have a softer bowel movements. Use something soft to wipe yourself with, like Tuck's or baby wipes or go into the shower to cleanse yourself after a bowel movement. Friction can worsen the pain. If over the counter medications do not relieve your symptoms, then I recommend seeing a doctor. This is an extremely common problem. Sometimes hemorrhoids become infected and can cause an abscess. If you are bleeding, then there is an open area that can become infected by the intestinal bacteria that are present in this area. So, if your symptoms persist or worsen, then you will need to grit your teeth and see a MD. Also there are other conditions like anal fissures that can cause similar symptoms. I think it would be helpful for you to go to Web Md and check out hemorrhoids, then you'll have a better understanding, which will enable you to treat this problem. Hope you feel better. I have a hemorrhoid and I was using Prep.H but it made my anus sting so I switched to CVS Hemorrhoid cream and?
it did the same thing. Is there any other cream out there that wont make it sting when I put it on and why does the cream make it sting?
Asked by Jacqualine Canwell 1 month ago.
Get your doc to call in something like Anusol HC or Analpram. These have cortisone in them and some have a numbing agent. The strengh is also stronger on these. Answered by Cierra Marousek 1 month ago.
Yeah OK. It got "accidentally" delivered to you just like $1000 dollars worth of porn gets "accidentally" delivered to me every Friday. Just put it on your *** and you'll feel a lot better. Answered by Kelsi Chaires 1 month ago.
