When I take medicine that has ANSAID in I get a really bad headache, do that mean I allergic to ANSAID?
Asked by Marlys Arvelo 2 years ago.

"headache" is a known side affect of NSAIDS (ibuprofen in particular)... This fact in itself supports the notion that you are not necessarily allergic to the drug Answered by Chia Vanasse 2 years ago.

My year old 7 lb Yorkie ate an unknown quantity of 7.5 mg Meloxicam tabs. He had vomitting and diarrhea.?
What might the long term effects be for him? Asked by Idella Puddy 2 years ago.

Meloxicam is an ANSAID, and many are not tolerated well by dogs. Call your vet immediately, as it is obvious from his symptoms that it is being very hard on his stomach and intestines. Do it as soon as possible. Meloxicam may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: •diarrhea •constipation •gas •sore throat •cough •runny nose Some side effects can be serious. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately. Do not take any more meloxicam until you speak to your doctor: •fever •blisters •rash •hives •itching •swelling of the eyes, face, tongue, lips, throat, arms, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs •difficulty breathing or swallowing •hoarseness •pale skin •fast heartbeat •unexplained weight gain •nausea •excessive tiredness •lack of energy •yellowing of the skin or eyes •pain in the right upper part of the stomach •flu-like symptoms •cloudy, discolored, or bloody urine •back pain •difficult or painful urination Meloxicam may cause other side effects. Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while taking this medication. Answered by Nydia Hamnon 2 years ago.

Go to the emergency room you buffoon! Vomiting and diarrhea will cause dehydration... not to mention the effects of the drug itself.....long term effects??? Your dog could die! Not providing medical treatment is illegal in most, if not all states. Answered by Damian Edington 2 years ago.

Really? Um. The BEST thing to do is take him to the animal hospital or he can SLOWLY die. SO TAKE HIM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Answered by Ola Glordano 2 years ago.

Please follow the advice here immediately, get him to the vet. Answered by Rosanne Cordona 2 years ago.

How would snorting a flurbiprofen effect your body?
Asked by Jerrie Telleria 2 years ago.

The brand name for these is Ansaid (another non-steroidal anti-inflam drug). They are basically glorified ibuprofen, as far as I can tell. They suck. I had a friend that was given them for her wisdom teeth. No narcotic or anything. Answered by Clarinda Soroa 2 years ago.
